I put some in a EGG/BUSD farm when EGG was at 50usd. Pulled out at 140usd. It wasn't too bad, but if I just had held my eggs (even without nesting) i would have gained more.
It's a risk but not crazy. I lost maybe 10-20% in gains. So I made x2.5 instead of x3

You should farm when we crab and nest when the price is mooning, otherwise the shift in price creates impermanent loss. The high APY is to offset impermanent losses from price volatility.
That's why the EGG-BUSD pair has the highest APY, because BUSD is a stablecoin so if EGG moons you lose guaranteed, as opposed to BNB-EGG where if BNB also moons while EGG does you'd negate the losses by staying in ratio.
There's also the fact you have to stake your EGG value in another token to farm. If EGG moons, you could have had 50% more gains just by having EGG instead of the other half of the pair. If you're already in BNB or something anyway instead of all in on EGG it's less of a big deal, but gains are gains.
Personally, as long as the price swings stay inside about a 10-15 dollar range, I think the BUSD-EGG pool pays for itself, but maybe I'm wrong. I think the actual loss is something like 10% if EGG doubles. The worst part would actually just be not buying more EGG in the first place with the BUSD you're pooling.

Maybe you guys should try holding something for longer than four days. This is by far the safest and comfiest BSC hold. EGG is becoming a blue chip along with CAKE, whilst being only a fraction of the mcap.
