It's here and it takes an army to run one with a defense department size budget to run it. Learn a little more about quantum computers you dumb nigger.

Not only that but it takes months to interpret the data the comes out of quantum computers. Thats what people who work on these things do most of the time.

There are already algorithms which are resistant to quantum computers. Proof of stake will help a lot, once that is used by most currencies.

B-but quantum computers can crack encryption like it's nothing!

I don't actually know if that's true or not. But just looking at technological progress over the years, I think it's safe to assume that computing power will be developed such that modern encryption methods will be useless sooner rather than later. Especially since quantum computing already exists, it won't take more than a couple decades to be perfected, miniaturized, and in use everywhere.

So did classical computers 60 years ago, it won't take 60 years this time. The law of accelerating returns. You've got probably 8 years or less.

Either there will be a solution or magic internet money will be the least of your concerns as the entire internet is torn apart. But yeah anyone who doesn't spend their money on land and a good house is retarded.

You need a 4000 qubit computer to break cryptocurrencies. Fud harder
