I'm not too much richer than you (high 5/low 6 figure portfolio which is really bad for somebody who has been browsing since 2016), but one thing that I firmly believe in is that the 2017 alt season was nothing, nothing, nothing but hot air. The tech and attention on the space has improved so much that even the promises (which always went unfulfilled) of past-era projects like XLM are now obsolete.
Spend a little bit more time exploring what really excites people in the space, where people are putting their money, and why. The trail will lead you to a different place, and people there will be making more money. XRP ain't it.

crypto can deprecate--make obsolete--multibillion dollar companies through protocols alone. Take a look at AAVE's deposit APY, and compare it with legacy savings accounts.

if you were looking for specific answers then I'm saying DeFi (niches like onchain derivatives are still pretty underexplored), and crosschain tech (we could see plural well-used chains instead of one dominant one). One thing that will pay well is to look for the equivalents of successful projects on other chains that could challenge ETH dominance (e.g. find what DOT's AAVE equivalent is and buy some of that)
