Is there a free operating system that I can install on a computer that functions solely as a hardware wallet?

Ok then, which distro operates solely as a hardware wallet? If I were to run it as a piece of software in an OS I would just use BTC Core (or whatever its called now) in W10.

yeah—probably some kind of linux as >>29163453 suggests
never done it or looked into it, but linux is probably your best place to start searching—otherwise, probably even a windows computer disconnected from the internet that broadcasts just the transactions you want to perform to a computer that is connected should do the trick

Thanks. Privacy or whatever really isn't my concern or anything (it also wont be powered on 24/7 by the way), I just dont want to store large amounts of coins on third party software wallets, and at the same time keep it simple for normie associates.
