From my perspective I see it as a post-ww2 style attempt to reduce debt with inflation. They may not come out and say it openly but I see no inclination for even hitting a low bound of 2%. They want as much inflation as possible that hits a sweet spot of causing the least problems. I'm almost entirely in the camp the market reflects this even if it's not understood fully by ever participant.

I think inflation is driving everything and as such even 1.5% 10 year isn't that spooky to me. Everyone sees it coming and no one is blinking because they also all see the piles of debt.
