>> No.29119637

>>29119035
It's not another coss. CM is way past that point now since they have a B2B deals going and users are going to be funneled to CM via banks and other financial institutions
Back in 2019 it could have very well been another coss, those were very dark times for CM but they've made a lot of progress since then

>> No.29120204

>>29119637
You know, I've thought about why people are so lukewarm with regards to CM like "it's just another CEX", and it might be because their strategy is too complex for your average guy to understand. People hone in on volume, trading pairs, liquidity and fees etc. which are vitally important sure, but less so for CM in terms of profits with their system of multiple revenue streams. Their vision of what makes an exchange successful is so very narrow and completely ignores the B2B aspect, concepts of banks outsourcing their purchase traffic to CM through their API and how lucrative that is compared to scalping primary retail investors for fees and the secondary marketplace the scope of which is unprecedented. Who knows how flashy headlines we need until they understand what separates CM from the others? More time for us to accumulate.

>> No.29120947

>>29120204
I know what you mean, I've seen people try to explain why CM is different from other CEXs and a lot of the time people don't get it. it feels like even if everything is spelled out it just goes over their heads even though in my opinion it's not very complex. Hopefully CM's marketing team has better luck getting people to understand why CM is worth using and why XCM is worth buying.

Dear fellow CoinMetroids,

We had an amazing run.
We had good times and bad times, okay well, maybe mostly bad times.
But now it's time to throw the towel into the ring.
$BNB is at $265 at time of writing.
It's time for us to recognise our competitor and say "Well done, you outdid us."
Great that most of us could turn a slight profit, albeit we had to wait years for it.
Personally I sold my whole XCM stack and went all in on $BNB.
Yes, CZ, you were right all along, I kneel.

Fellow CoinMetroids, perhaps we'll buy or sell into eachothers walls on Binance, one can dream.

See you space cowboy.

yeah idk
but it's the reason I put 4 eth down on the ICO
I've got 22k xcm and I can't be bothered to buy more because it's under performed the eth I put in.
I consider it my suicide stack.

But of course I went heavily into LINK and that has made any losses I've suffered seem trivial.

Haha, crazy how it's the exact opposite for me. I missed out big on LINK because I allocated so much capital towards XCM. I wanted to end myself over it but it's all good now. Insane how things can turn around completely in just a month. Best of luck to you.

I'm big on holding long, it's a solid time tested strategy to research hard and hold long.
You're going to make it.
Right now I'm trying to decide if I should make any moves or just lay low.
I'm kicking myself because my initial instinct hit me back in november / december to throw more fiat into the game and get in on some shit, and it would have been perfect timing for the bull run
now I'm wavering between moving out of my position on the few diversification I made that haven't really panned out, or just stay comfy until the bear market and buy up everyone's bags for good projects.

I expect the percentage returns to fall between 3%-6% for regular investors based on tier and amount staked and 6%-7% for ICO.
There will most likely be diminishing % gains proportional to the amount of XCM you stake and a hard cap in the range of 500k-1mil. The motivation behind this is to encourage people to use all of the other services CM has to offer like TRAM, token offerings and margin which is obviously a good call and healthy for the exchange ecosystem as the goal is to involve new blood, not to fill already bursting whale pockets buddy-buddy style.

Taking profits never made anyone lose money as they say, but what coinmetro is probably gonna accomplish is so huge that I think long term having a fat stack for staking will be super rewarding, even if its capped. The passive income potential is great
