Are you a time traveller from 2017? So far the only valid use case that makes sense is a highly secure and decentralized property rights system. This is bitcoin. Your small value coffee purchase or your yield farming can happen with a custodian, but you cannot compromise the bearer instrument at the bottom of the stack.
