I love seeing posts like this. It shows bow early we are because people STILL don't understand the mechanics behind farming. This isn't fucking new, bro. Even SUSHI and BAO had retarded APYs at the start. The point is that farming provides a fair playing ground for everyone to earl a lot during distribution phase. These tokens will be used for community governance, so it's important to widely distribute a mass amount of tokens so that even the little guy gets decent voting power.

Over time these pools will provide less APY because the more people enter the pool the more it disperses those eggs. This, you'll receive less of the total eggs minted every block proportionally, because there are more people to give them out to. Not only that, but there will be rate halvings in the upcoming weeks. Seriously, just look at Bao and their current APYs. If you compared them to a month ago, you'd see that pools they used to give 16,000% are now down to maybe 800% at most. Over time that number will get lower.

The only reason it's so high is because ARE EARLY. It's not difficult to understand. You'll get that rate now, but by next year they hilariously broken percentage will never be reached because the platform will have so many more users getting a piece of the pie and the rewards will have been slashed numerous times. If you're too scared to get in now, you'll fucking neck yourself when you see in 3 months that it takes an entire fucking month worth of farming to make what a single day currently nets you. Egg will have a significantly higher price too, due to the buyback mechanic and token burning features coming down the line.

Honestly I really can't believe they people are still having difficulty with this. This stuff is outlined in documentations. You guys DO read the documentation of projects before investing, right?
