I think a lot of people fail to see the unique opportunity for Dave and Busters in light of the pandemic.

Dave and Busters is an arcade chain, which obviously was hit hard by the pandemic. Despite the blow, they have been and still are financially stable, yet that isn't a good enough excuse to wave off the pandemic damage.

So besides an arcade/restaurant, what else can Dave and Busters offer to pander to a stay at home audience?

I don't have paper evidence, but one direction that came to my mind is by creating a sports betting platform. The more I think about it, the more and more sense it makes, in pandemic or out of pandemic.

Looked at their SEC filings, and some major institutions have been accumulating significant stake in PLAY. Blackrock, Morgan Stanley, Point 72, etc.
