Since you guys are boomers i need some advice, it doesnt relate to PM but i do have a lot of silver

Finally got my first real offer letter from a reputable company in NYC. Im relieved and excited but the only problem is the pay. It is an entry-level law firm job and it's only 35k/yr. (yearly salary) It has benefits and stuff but the commute to the city will greatly hinder my income(whenever that will be)

I am torn on what to do. It is WFH until further notice, and i plan to commute to NYC to save money. That pay is brutal though. Cant be picky i guess.

GF is a finance major gets comfy 9-5 job before she even graduates 75k/yr
I am a Crim major, psych and ethics minor, which makes me want to keep looking, but 2021 grads are creeping up and the job market is a complete ruse .

Should i take this job? I do not have any current income but feel like i could do better.
Also be smarter about your degrees anons. Im thinking i need to take it.

TLDR: 35k/yr worth it for experience/ job in NYC

Probably best to split it between Bayhorse and Vangold so that you're diversified. Both have the same kind of use-case although Bayhorse is more undervalued still. Also bear in mind that buying silver stocks carries enormous risk while gold is certain to give you a 10x.

PMG does realize that the oligarchs can do anything they want with the paper price right?
They could crash it to $5 if they felt like it.
They probably wouldn't because that would probably be unwise for them.
But they could.
The only thing that matters is real prices.
And infact if spot price gets crushed and real prices stay the same THATS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Everyone here should understand that if this thing happens.
If it really happens.
You arent going to see your gains on the spot chart.
The revolution will not be televised.

Take that chart with a grain of salt, as another anon kept questioning here a couple days ago- there is more going on there than what the ridiculously inflated conversions show.
I am not shilling or fudding or whatever you want to call it. I was in Iraq during the early 2000's and it was a similar situation there with their "money" but anyone that could traded in USD. Venezuela I believe also has a much more realistic set of values for those things when you incorporate paying in USD or other currency from brazil or whatever, I am just not sure exactly how it works. Hopefully the Brazil anon is here and can speak more to it.

hi anon. nycfag here. if you're living on your own, $35k is a stretch to survive here. i don't know where you are currently but the rents are crazy here. the price of basic shit is crazy. at the same time you will be making too much to qualify for any kind of public assistance, so no food stamps to help eat. if you're planning to live not inside nyc (5 boro's) then where are you looking to commute from? having a car here is more trouble than it's worth unless you live in a very suburban zone and you don't have bus/train right outside your door, and even MTA gets expensive very quick all by itself.

i get that you're young and desperate to find something, i'm also not trying to discourage you if you're looking to do something you love or want the experience from it. but what you're describing sounds like a really bad deal. still, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. but if you're getting 35k a year, that's about $1,500 a month ($1,100 in take home pay). but 1 bedroom apartments cost that much by themselves. again, i don't know where you're planning to live, but shit is not cheap.

also reminder that real life NYC is not the romanticized hollywood version. shit's fucked here.

A quote from silver miner anon:

"1) BHS has 100% ownership of a safe-jurisdiction high-grade silver mine with an official resource of 6 million 21 oz/t (_extremely_ high grade) ounces, and probably has at least double that number.

2) BHS is capable of producing 1.2 million ounces a year at an AISC of only $10 and therefore can objectively go 100x at $50 silver, 500x at $200 silver and 1000x at $400 silver (see >>26301699). Bear in mind that the inflation-adjusted ATH for silver is $966.

3) BHS has many highly respectable people working for it. The team consists of "Dr. Stewart Jackson, P.Geol., Dr. Clay Conway, P.Geol,, Mining Engineer, Dr. Bill Willoughy, PE, RM SME, and Metallurgical Consultant, Mr. John Fox. Independent consultants Dr. Gerry Ray, P. Geol along with Apex Geoscience, and John Jewitt, a highly regarded Mining Engineer." It is also backed by many respected investors like Bob Moriarty, who says that he "still loves it" and "owns a boatload" even though he bought his shares at double the current price in 2018.

4) Most of the hatred for BHS comes from irrational long-time bagholders or disgruntled investors who don't appreciate the things which can go wrong in setting up a mine. BHS was highly creative and innovative to get going at all for such a small budget. You virtually never see a small company go straight into production. Graeme O'Neil was ingenious in doing some things with permits and the ore-sorter to make it happen.

5) BHS just got an off-take agreement to purchase $2 million of their silver/copper concentrate. These funds will ensure that they can go into full production of 200 tpd without further shareholder dilution. They are already increasing it to 10 tpd of concentrate or 150 tpd of ore (which is very close to maximum capacity)."

>does this go for all the Swiss Francs or only particular coins?
Fuck missed your other questions, this would go for all coins struck as currency in this time. Commemorative coins may vary obviously. Also regarding the 1991 date, this one only applies for the 20 franc piece. The table only gives the specific contents for the coin in the left column and not for all coins in the timeframe.

I mean will they continue to participate in this system?
There may be a bifurcation with fake prices in the west and real prices in the east.
Both sides calling theirs the spot price.
But they arent a coherent chart that moves from one market to the next so that its almost always open.

GobAnon back with another shiny rock. Weird times at the LCS. Got jewed for paying in foreign currency (10% penalty for a sovereign sold an absurd 20% over spot). More worrying was the fact that I bought their only sovereign. It's such a stupidly common coin that they should never have just one.

But whatever, the foreign currency was just sitting there for years losing value and it'd cost at least 20% to exchange it to USD. Spent about $80 more than I wanted to, but paying effectively $180 for 0.2354 ozt is acceptable. While I was there, a chinaman wandered in and starting asking in broken English if they "sold gold" and how they sold it ("by the ounce?").

Well duh, of course it'll collapse eventually, but you have to say when. Especially good if you can drop in info as to why. Like, "Plan DALIAN will go into effect on February 22nd-23rd and the "flood" following it will make the true nature of our massively overprinted money supply part of the public consciousness, resulting in a huge drop in the confidence of the dollar and 15-25% inflation by April."
