Why the fuck are all these sites still supporting bitcoin?

Since 2013, bitcoin always had transaction slowdowns, yet people still made more websites built solely around bitcoin. Transaction times are still slow as fuck and segwit won't do shit.

salty altcoin bag holder detected. sorry, bitcoin will always be king.

General question, what is the current best alt to Bitcoin?

Specifically toward OP, what coin you feel deserves its place?

Because it makes them money. Once it stops becoming pofitable, BTC will be dropped like a piece of turd.

litecoin, monero.

BTC is a reserve currency, not a consumer transaction currency.

ETH or Monero, the latter as its destined to become the currency of dark web markets after the current shitstorm subsides.

if you think monero is scale-able you're a retard
every person with a monero wallet NEEDS TO DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE CHAIN
it can't be used as a currency because there are NO LIGHT WALLETS
no one is going to carry a hard drive around just to use a blockchain

WHY EVEN FORK TO BCC OR SEGWIT2X
BECAUSE LITECOIN IS ALREADY CHINA COIN

ethereum can't scale either, they can't even handle a popular ICO sale

you don't understand how big a blockchain can get especially one like monero
it has flexible blocksize so someone can spam the network and it wouldn't be practical to buy that much storage

because bitcoin is the oldest, biggest, most secure network

>> No.2903181

>>2902984

actually coinomi and monero devs are both working on mobile clients for xmr. adjustable block size adjusts both ways and still requires fees so spam is expensive. but generally you are right, they trade off some scalability for fungibility.
fastest blockchains are bts and steem, steem has no fees, both are faster than visa.

>> No.2903189

>>2902623

because bitcoin is most secure. vaporware like eth, for example, is breaking down every few months and fails at security constantly including proving to be centralized where devs can censor anyone like dao user and bail themselves out - exact opposite of what crypto was built to prevent

Because BCC exists solely because of chinese subhumans who are sabotaging an update BTC has needed for years, all because those vermin don't want to lose "M-muh abuse of mining algorhythms"
BTC will get segwit, and I hope this paves the way for more unrestrained updates of the coin.
I want chinese miners in the streets, lynched by mobs of their own subhuman connationals just before their shitty streets collapse like usual and swallow them all into the ground.

The only good chink is an obliterated one
