I think it’s time we admitted that link is not as special of a project as we thought it is. It has some niche use cases, but centralised oracles currently secure 90% of TVL over multiple chains, and they’re doing just fine. With the proliferation of decent insurance and cover protocols they risk of using centralised oracles is getting lower and lower. Link will find decent niche usecases but it’s not going to be in the top 10 for much longer.

what is the point of this post? anyone who knows what chainlink is knows that it is the single most important project in all of crypto. it would be more detrimental to the space to delete every single other project in existence than to just delete chainlink. objectively speaking

>most important project
That’s btc. Centralised oracles secure billions in maker/compound/yearn/curve etc etc. Decentralised oracles are for niche usecases.

Fully agreed my friend and I have just market sold all my Linkers at $33.44.
It can go no higher my friends.

>> No.29004486

I don't understan this, early marines bought around 1 dollar or less, now they could sell for 33. I sold half of my stack and bought an apartment in a second world contry capital, as well as a nice nice, plus all kinds of other shit, and still have almost 20k euros to spare. I work for 600 euros a month BTW. Took a loan to buy more link and paid it off too. OFC i had more luck than brains as they say but chainlink literally changed my life. The rest i will hold even if it goes to 0, don't even care.

I honestly don't understand the biz obsession with link shilling. It's a decent project but has no more potential than quite a few of the other top 30 coins. Are there really people here who are 100% in link and not diversifying at all? Insanity imo.

I must concur with this anon; after reading his post, a deep realization hit me: I must liquidate my entire position in Chainlink (ticker: $LINK). This is evidently the absolute top, and after today, a network of decentralized oracles will be rendered purposeless as all chains will simply move to plasma side-chain shard merkle trees for their data feeds requirements, as outlined on the Official ERC Council's blog. I am utterly demoralized, but I truly hope you don't make the same mistake I did. Not buying or market selling is the only option. We cannot let this Nazarov character further embarrass us or we'll all end up bankrupt...
