My bitcoin is all on coinbase and Poloniex. Where do I transfer it to get my BCC?

bitaddress.org

Make a paper wallet. That's what you should have done from the start.

Bittrex or your own wallet. Either should give you BCC.

They did say that they'd give you BCC. Doesn't matter to me anyway, only thing I have on Bittrex is my alts. My 17 BTC are safe in my paper wallet. Hopefully Aug 1st goes ok and the 21 BTC meme wasn't a lie.

If there are more open long btc on margin each user will get more than 1 bcc per btc. If there are more open short btc on margin each user will get less than 1 bcc per btc. Pic attached of recent long/short action on bitfinex

i'm retarded, what does that mean? if i keep my bitcoin in a hardware or paper wallet i get all my bcc? bittrex doesn't guarantee it?

If you have btc in a paper wallet you will get 1 bcc for every btc you have. On bitfinex you will get a bit more/less than 1 bcc per btc, but currently it looks like you'll get less. Stick with the paper wallet

Move it all to Bittrex. Bittrex will give you BCC in a 1:1 ratio, just like if you were holding it in a wallet where you control the private keys. The advantage of having it on Bittrex would be that you'll have the money ready to trade whatever happens on the day of the fork. If you don't have it there, you'll have to wait until exchanges open deposits again.

I am thinking about transfering my BTC to ViaBTC to sell the BCC futures for 0.14 BTC each. Am I just being to greedy? Will they scam me?
