Honest job edition

Pangolin rewards have been ultra kind to us; the earlier you get into liquidity pools, the bigger earnings you'll get.
AVAX's dip has given wagecucks a 2nd chance to buy before getting outpriced, and a golden chance to major hodlers to fill our bags a little more. We're comfy.
Leave your expectations, FUD, doubts, experiences with Avalanche right on this thread.
And remember fellow avaxbros; never sell until quintuple digits.

Zero Exchange is the first and best DEX on Avalanche.

The most lucrative farming APY can be found at zero.exchange. The AVAX/ZERO pair in particular is very generous.

AVAXbros aren’t fudding Zero Exchange. That presumes everyone in the Avalanche community isn’t in anyway associated with Zero Exchange.
Half of the community is vested in Zero Exchange, while some are vested in both.
What’s really at issue here, aside from butt-hurt Pangolin devs, who couldn’t deliver, is that some people think they can control an open source community. It really is the most extraordinary behaviour.

>> No.28983828

Because it isn't one. In bitcoin, how a double spend works, is you pay using "the same coins", no new coins are added to the system, if a double spend is possible an attacker can trick someone into accepting a transaction that won't be included in the longest chain. This may seem less serious but it isn't, it's the main thing a Nakamoto consensus is supposed to "solve", as is the goal of any other distributed consensus algorithm. This is what double-spend literally means. Here the user received new coins, which he was able to spend. Yes, the network "double minted" the coins, to use your stupid forced meme. This may seem worse but it isn't, because if the network was vulnerable to a double spend that would indicate some design failure with Avalanche consensus, on the other hand, inflation bugs are easy to fix, requiring in the worst case scenario a hard fork.

Well the network stalling for +24h was the consensus failure. Liveness guarantee not fulfilled. Anyone can make a consensus mechanism which stalls from time to time due to various bugs, see for example IOTA. But bitcoin doesnt give a fuck if chain forks, damn straight.

Anyhow, not a total devastating failure for AVAX. This can be salvaged, ava-labs must ASAP hire the guy who wanted to make more various node implementations.

Hi Pennywise

Seems like they update the ratios each morning based on how much liquidity is in each one. Hopefully they implement a system to automatically adjust png/pair every hour or something

I should say I know what it is, more so how to provide liquidity and make money from it. How much AVAX you pumped into it, etc?

The ratios are quickly getting worse and worse, on the upside the PNG price is rising.
The sooner you get in the better.

No but I saw it happen live at like 10 am pacific five or take an hour or 2
>>28989027
You have to supply equal amounts of both tokens in a pair. For example I am supplying $X worth of link and $X worth of AVAX to the link-AVAX pool. Just go to the pangolin exchange and read the tutorial, it takes 5 minutes and will teach you everything. Upu may want to send ERC 20 assets into AVAX using the AVAX ethereum bridge. Just read all the tutorials for everything, it’s all explained. Dyor

It's retarded, AVAX never was stronger as a network (Transaction volume and Pangolin liquidity are through the roof rightnow) but it doesn't reflect on price.

It makes me sick how underpriced AVAX is.

>> No.28990279

>>28989877
We pumped hard, then had a somewhat major bug and binance fuckery on top of the expected pullback. Give it time, btc is going to stomp alts and then once it starts crabbing again AVAX will moon again. The next 2 weeks are a great accooooomulation opportunity.

Based thanks, any recommendations for an amount of AVAX to supply? So like 300 total and the pair split 150 each? Is there a recommended amount to make it worth it?

Damn dude that’s rough. I made the same mistake but thankfully I realized that I wasn’t accruing any PNG after half an hour and then I went and read the pangolin tutorial.

so are we all doing LINK/AVAX here?

>> No.28990800

>>28990552
Just depends how much money you have and how risk averse you are. lPs face impermenant loss and there’s the tiny risk of pangolin having a bug and pools getting exploited or something.
Me? I’m farming with almost my entire AVAX stack, but it’s only like 25% of my link stack (I’m in the AVAX-link pool mostly). All the png I earn goes into the png-AVAX pool. PNG rewards right now should far outstrip any impermanent loss so I recommend farming and holding as many as you can.

>> No.28990822

>>28990552
Your reward is proportional to the amount of liquidity that is yours in the pool. More is better. As more and more people provide liquidity the amount goes down, hence the sooner you join the higher the return.
Most of my AVAX is staked, but my 20 AVAX (now 25 png/10 avax) gives 6 png/week + cut of the fees.

I love you too anon. The one main risk with using the avalanche network is that you will absolutely hate it if you ever have to use ethereum again. I cannot imagine paying $150 in gas to take a loan on Aave, or waiting 10 minutes for a transaction to go through again. Avalanche is like driving a sports car for the first time after a lifetime of getting around on a 100 pound bicycle

>> No.28992357

>>28991264
I'm actually all in on Avalanche and never touched Ethereum before. Went from Bitcoin to Avalanche. I used Uniswap the other week for some shitcoins and my god the gas and failed transactions and wait times.
Having avoided Ethereum and being new to Avalanche made me objectively realise which seems like the future and which was a just a nice experiment.
