28929697 No.28929697 [Reply] [Original]

Bought a big house with half my stack. I know housing is high. I know ETH is high too with room to grow.

Did I fuck up, frens. I just can't stomach another bear market without locking profit in to hard assets. Bought a good stash of silver too. Am I gonna make it?

And while we're on the subject. What can I put like 200k into to get my ETH stack back to where it was. I need a good, hard 3x-er and I'll be back up.

Fren... you have a house now. Get the fuck off this board and enjoy a hobby, you've earned it.

I also sold half my bag since january. More than it, actually.
I put most in btc, and got gains from it.
Ethereum will not move, because of the fee issue. Vitalik will not solve it, he already said he supports high fees. So its going downhill from here.
BSC might save DeFI, but who knows.

If you're a long-hauler I'd really recommend Graph. If you're tech savvy at all definitely check out their site and tech, lots of good insight gems around here, pic related.

I can verify it as much as an anon can, I work as a lead software engineer and I can confirm this take

Thanks for this info. Just read the pics related, but couple of questions. Could this tech be re-created without a fee? Would that even be feasible at all?

Is this basically decentralized API? Is the blockchain data distributed amongst stakers and then the fees are rewarded accordingly when queries are invoked? I'm just a smoothbrain network transport guy.

Because I sat there not selling ETH at $1400 last time thinking it had room to go since BTC was 20k. Boy was I wrong and the ensuing 3 years were a pretty emotional rollercoaster that I do not wish to repeat. I do also predict at least 3k ETH though.

I wouldn’t diversify with only 200k with these premiums right now, but if I did I would diversify in the big three defi coins: Aave, snx, and uni. Defi is the ico of 2017. What we have seen so far is a sample. I would get 160 Aave, 2000 snx, and 3000 uni so you can be 1/10,000 in total supply. You will make it if any or all of them moon.

Graph and those other shitcoins could moon one day or get shit on this bull run. I’m telling you man, the sure thing is defi and the sure thing is eth. People here try to say eth is dead with the fees and all this other baseless fud to pump their own shitcoin of the month. It’s all objectively lies. Idk why I’m helping you, maybe I see you doubting yourself and it makes me upset. My port is attached.

Thanks man. You seem like a genuine guy. I needed this. Buying the house is decision for my future family with the wife, and not something I would have done if I were single for sure. I am happy to let my remaining ~500k sit all in ETH, but I guess I'm being a combo of a little greedy, but also not wanting to miss legitimate and promising projects for larger gains to work back up to my former stack. I appreciate the advice and have some heavy reading to do now.

My man. I do believe in some 'good' debt to make money, especially in real estate. But absolutely fuck banks. DeFi is such a cool space, I can't wait to see what it evolves into actually. I mean you could theoretically have entire credit histories exists on-chain and tied to a private anonymous key. I hope shit gets more private, and more seamless as this all progresses. This Alt season does actually feel like it has a more solid footing than 2017. And I'm sure next wave after another bear cycle we'll really see the top contenders fleshed out and operational. Exciting times.

Yeah, land is arguably the only valuable possession to have, but time and again, humans learn that they can never truly own land, but they just sort of rent it from the government for some period of time.

If you own the land, every government will see which land you own and may decide to appropriate it.

I really do feel like there will be two classes in the future. Those controlling their wealth and land, and those 100% great reset style 'porn/vidya/bugtofu/rental/happyyyyy' completely state-owned and controlled. Shit will get weird in our lifetimes, that's no doubt.
