Here is where it gets interesting for /biz/:

THOSE COINS HAVE NOT BEEN BURNED YET. The dev wallet is up to just over 400mil coins now but they appear to be having trouble accumulating the 500mil. This is why the Dec 3 date for XNS coins being unvested (and then dumped on the market by scared investors) WAS met, but the burn deadline wasn't...

Dead coin, right? Rug pull. Pajeet scam. Yet Insolar just filed three high level big brain blockchain patents this year, one as early as a couple weeks ago. One of their recent Medium posts states that they have a major announcement regarding a payments partner, but specifically states that they can't get into details due to an NDA. Github is still active (and last year was the most active crypto project overall, apparently). Telegram active. But radio silence on the token burn...

And then we get to the XNS token market... $2.5mil mk cap. Huge volume despite being on only two exchanges. VERY liquid for a "dead coin". But price goes no where. Wash trading? Trading algo suppressing price? Is Insolar desperately attempting to acquire the rest of the tokens they require for the 500mil burn that apparently the SEC has either enforced or expects of them?

And there in lies the opportunity, potentially, frens...

What is stopping them from just scooping up the rest of the burn tokens? Why would they having difficulty doing this? Most the the initial investors dumped their bags after the swap, they must have scooped up quite a few and they've had nearly a year to do it. Because there is only like two exchanges left holding 100% of the liquid supply...if they just waltz in to Kucoin and dropped a market order for 100mil XNS it would nuke the order book. Now, we'll need some help from some anon who knows how Insolar would ideally go about obtaining the supply from the open market without spiking the price...but what I do know is is that it isn't as simple as just buying the 100mil coins off an exchange. I know we're only speculating on the fuckery behind the scenes, but if their focus right now is on properly (and silently) integrating clients to the mainnet, then that's what I'm looking for.
Call it anti-crypto or centralized if you want, but imo the big push in the next few years for crypto projects will be actually getting companies to adopt their platform.
I know ETH has enterprise tools etc, but the privatized approach where you could just have the creators of the damn thing (i.e XNS, VET) directly onboard you and give you their assurances is far more efficient. Ease of access to blockchain tech is the key, and whoever can do it best wins long term.

Complete poorfag here in school less than 10k to my name just put another $300 into this. Making another $150 in BAND is not worth the chance that this thing comes out of hiding and pops.

This is how I've broken it down in my head:
1: Team makes the big announcement and starts to push the project; this feels likely considering everything we've seen in these schizo threads, lol some of y'all need to chill and go to bed. This should easily be a 25x, likely more as people try to catch it under 100k cap.
Then as a couple of you have pointed out comes the big question: do we dump our bags here or hold and hope for even greater gains as the project gets more adoption and publicity? This, unfortunately we can't answer yet; it really comes down to the quality of the tech and if they are adding partners. And while it sure would be nice to pocket 10k or 20k, if I sold and the devs pull this off and get into the billions of market cap (600x and beyond) I don't think I could ever live down the regret.

As i see it the best fud is not the "Soveren currently doesnt use Insolar" its the "what if they move tech to Soveren", what does that do with XNS and the Insolar blockchain? Can anyone elaborate on this as i feel it is the best fud of all and i dont understand why they want to move, what they gain and what that will do to XNS. Ive concluded that ceasing operations are damning for them as individuals and i dont think they will do it if they dont have a really good reason, they havent implied they are doing it either, contrary. And i feel like if they want to let it go they maybe shouldve done it earlier instead, i dont know but this needs to be broken down logically. Yes, of course we are. This project is all but dead with no public git updates for 4 months and little word from any of the devs not to mention the ICO buyers felt they got scammed.
That being said 3 patents filed by insolar THIS YEAR all regarding distributed ledgers are more than enough proof that they still have plans for this thing.

As for the email, if anything it only confirms that insolar is going to play a role. He says first that their vision for data privacy is still ledger technology and secondly doesn't rule out Insolar, saying "our CURRENT product however, doesn't make use of ledger technology."

There will be a lot of projects that will suffer the same issues. Similar problems with Storiqa - there was a working product but vendors didn't trust crypto, and investors just held on to the coin for speculative purposes refusing to actually use it.
