Oh I am dumb, thanks for smartening me up about the 7 mill supply
But what is this actually?

>> No.28921675

>>28921522
Yeah? 7 *m*illion. What don’t you get about being chain agnostic?

>> No.28921699

are you retarded? it's just a pegged version of it on bsc
you could deposit into binance and it's exactly the same as the "real" version

I was thrown off by being a retard and reading billion instead of million.
How can we confirm that 7 million Link (ERC) are locked up for this?

>> No.28921753

>>28921661
chainlink is blockchain agnostic it can be on any chain

Is it "pegged," meaning that the total supply cross chain is now the supply on Ethereum + 7 million on BSC? Or are 7 million ERC tokens locked up for this?

>> No.28921919

where can I stake my linkies on BSC?

>> No.28921967

>>28921819
i would assume it's backed, judging by the original bitcoin blog post

Based. Get my linkies off this shit skelly chain

Ideally Sergey and his expanding belly and team would create Linkchain to compliment their Chainlink and just take over the whole damn system

>> No.28922121

>>28921819
Maybe 8 months ago Binance announced that they would lock up some Link tokens on the ETH chain to mint the same amount on BSC

>> No.28922146

>>28921967
Thanks for posting. I don't suppose there's any way to actually verify this backing? Last thing I want is to not sure if there a bunch of "paper Link tokens" out there with no real backing, just with SLV and silver.

Get these two niggers a calculator and 2nd grade MAFF book.

>> No.28922301

>>28921819
The second one. Those tokens are locked on the ETH chain. The combined supply across all chains cannot exceed the 1 billion token hard cap

>> No.28922397

>>28922301
>>28922121
Is that lockup actually verified in code? Can it be checked? Or do have to take CZ's word for it?

>> No.28922915

>>28922397
Yes it is, this was always the plan with chainlink, this is the blockain agnostic feature that was in the white paper. In order to mint the tokens on a different chain the tokens from the previous chain need to be burned/locked. You do not need to take CZs word for it.

Can BSC be interacted from anywhere or only through Binance?

I recognize this is a brainlet question

pancakeswap is the uniswap of bsc
using binance just makes it easier for you to cash out since you can deposit bsc-link and in your binance wallet it's treated the same as erc20-link
