The IOU is trading at 0.08 on poloniex, I wouldn't bank on it staying this low though.. If I wasn't a burger I'd be buying the fuck out of it

You had to have xrp at the snapshot. However, I think there's also supptto be an airdrop for ltc holders iirc

This is so annoying, they never said there is an ltc airdrop, just that 5 billion would somehow get to ltc in some way.

Chainlink works on ethereum which is a slow expensive shitheap

Flare networks uses Spark token with XRP which fast, low fees.

Which one makes more sense?

Folks, I have been thinking about this project a lot. Yes it kills the chainlink because it exposes chainlink's lack of a real need. It has an oracle, but thats not even the main appeal of the token. Let me help you out: to mint F-assets, the user must lock up 2.5x the value of the underlying asset in spark. so to mint 1 FBTC, youll need to lock up over 100k in spark. people WILL want to send FBTC instantly and without gas fees. so the demand is there. then consider what this will do to the supply of spark. The inflation (paid out to participants in the form of rewards) will be vastly outpaced by the initial demand for Spark needed to collateralize F assets. (in a 2.5:1 ratio) I will be vacuuming this shit up when midwitds dump their airdropped tokens. if we can get 1 trillion onto the Flare netowork, that means 2.5 trillion in spark will need to be locked up. PLUS the agents get 5% reward. its truly a well oiled economic machine. BUY WHILE YOU CAN

>> No.28915110

How little this is being talked about is insane. Flare is gonna be truly revolutionary and absolutely skullfuck the defi market.

I think Ripple needs to win their lawsuit to keep the wind in the sails of Flare. if XRP moons, FLR moons. could moon by itself later on.

it will probably appreciate slowest in price and fastest in value if you vote in the FTSO (oracle) and use your FLR to mint F-assets. >>28915299
yes this mentality is why FLR needs XRP to moon to shut these people up. it is pretty much two sides of the same coin: defi and cenfi. we should have some of both.
