Buying shitcoins is like gambling, why waste the time researching and checking the price all the time. Just buy bitcoin and get on with your life. After a few years you will make it for sure. ETH is cool, but not a good investment, since it isn't limited. Bitcoin on the other hand is.
>>28892591
Its simple. Find an exchange. I think coinbase is pretty good for beginners, but the fees are high so I'd rather use Coinbase Pro which you can use the same login information at. Just transfer your fiat into your Coinbase and buy bitcoin. You can keep it there but I recommend buying a hardware wallet. Either from Ledger or Trezor.
>>28892661
Retarded faggot. When all btc are mined the miners will be payed only with transaction fees. Also when all BTC is mined which will happen in 2140 probably, it means the supply is fixed and no more new bitcoin is entering the system. Bitcoin will still appreciate in value then because people will lose access to their bitcoin, basically burning them, which is like a gift to all other bitcoiners.

I know it can be nerve racking to send a big amount of BTC around. But transferring BTC is pretty simple.

Every wallet has a public key and private key. Public key is basically a wallet adress. When I want to send you BTC, I need to know your public key.

Private key on the other hand is needed to send bitcoin. If anyone knows your private key, he can steal your BTC, so don't share it.

A lot of hardware wallets also have a 24 words seed. The private key can be calculated by these 24 words (order of words is important though). So keep the 24 words safe and make sure they are written down on physical paper and don't save them anywhere digital.

On an exchange, you just have to write the public key of your hardware wallet and press send. Make sure it is correct and also make a small transaction first for testing before you send the big boy bucks.

The only problem I have with this is the divisibility of bitcoin. As the smallest unit is 0.00000001 BTC i would assume that there needs be a few orders of magnitudes difference from an transaction and a mining fee. Ie. Transferring 1 satoshi "should" be cheaper than 1 satoshi and combined with the fact that miners at the limit are payed by fees and bitcoins low TPS

crypto wise 100%.
i like the risk reward i'm comfortable trading it too hard to get a feel for the moods and fundamentals of a new coin even if i wanted to.

You never know what's gonna happen, especially over the long term. Put it on a hardware wallet, keep the seed safe and just forget about it for a few years.

Tiny, miniscule risk (bankruptcy, fraud etc) but you have no reason to take that risk.
If you hold it in a personal wallet all the risk is your own responsibility (Don't lose it, keep your seed secure) on an exchange the miniscule risk is completely out of your control and you can't mitigate it.

Apps like Wealthsimple and Robinhood are retarded for crypto, don't use those, you don't even own the coins, you're just paying them to say you do
