That document is from November 2019. It's completely obsolete, and it was merely a proposition. This FUD reminds me of Chainlink FUD in 2018 on r/cryptocurrency. It's not bad, but when you look deeper into it, it looks like it's designed to drive the price down, so that someone can accumulate. This doc is even mentioning distribution of all coins by 2024, while right now it's 2030.

I only have 100k Algo, and if it doesn't moon within a week, then my stake will end and I'll be able to get to 200k+ Algo. I'm a fucking retard for spoon feeding, instead of Fudding. This coin has a potential of top 10 coins. It's on a level of Polkadot, and it's way better than Cardano. So it can still 10x with current total marketcap, and total marketcap is probably going to move by 5-10x, so 50-100x is still possible on this gem. I'm really getting 2018 LINK vibes in here.

Also it doesn't make sense to keep price of Algorand token low. If they want to get a real network effect, then they need to get into top 10, so that they can get more clients, more reputation, and more developers. Keeping price low would be insanity. Besides I'm not sure if people remember 2017. Back then coins like Neo, or Nano (Ants and XRB in the past) did 100x, or even more. Look at their charts. When Algo gets parabolic, there will be nothing able to stop it. Foundation would need to dump Billions of coins, but since they plan on distributing them in a matter of decade, they can't do it.

My concern with chain is the price has climbed to where I don't have good leverage, where as with ALGO if its a dollar a coin I can buy a lot more for the same amount of money as compared to chain.

Fully diluted to 10b coins with only the bitcoin Mcap each algo would be worth 64 dollars and that's not for 10 years. The bitcoin mcap is only based on it being a speculative asset while ALGO is a ISO 20022 certified financial instrument that's going to service stablecoins, banks, media with an MIT brain trust behind it that has connections to all the right people. Once ALGO starts doing real world applications if it takes even a small percentage of credit card transactions over for example it would likely dwarf the bitcoin Mccap. That's how this coin becomes worth a lot.
