One thing that worked for me was buying some small coins that are not in the spotlight of influencers.

Got XIO a year ago at less than one cent when it was crabbing, and now it's over 35 cents. Got FLASH as an airdrop, held it through the period when no one talked about it, and now Suppoman and Elliotrades found it and it's mooning. Also made some money on other lowcaps, but these are my two biggest things that brought me from 4 figures to low six figures, and recently cuz of the FLASH pump I reached mid six figures, kek

So focus more on small undervalued coins instead of things like BTC, ETH and other top coins. If you find good onbes and you make a 3-5-10x you can always take out your initial investment or more, and put it into other coins, maybe bigger ones, so you can keep your profits safe.

Found a few on a facebook group desu. The BOMB and XIO airdrop were first advertised on two facebook groups name Crypto Coin Trader and Cryptocurrency Investing.

But that was a long time ago, and since the focus is more on DeFi now I look more around here, or on r/cryptomoonshots. Rise Protocol is a gem that you might want to put a small amount in. It is right above a 3 million market cap and was released 4 days ago. Deflationary token with only 5 percent of total supply owned by devs. Easily could 10x, but I wouldn't put my whole portfolio on it. It also took me a year to go from 8k usd to 6 figures. Took a lot of research into altcoins to get high returns, and only ever put a max of 10 percent of my portfolio in one altcoin.

It depends on how much risk you are comfortable with. I would say, the safer way is to buy some mid cap and wait some time. Look at the team, look at the investors, tokenomics, website quality etc. Stuff on binance usually do okay (POND, LTO, PNT, INJ, etc.).

If you want fast and risky, you should jump from flavor of the week coin to flavor of the week coin, enter early and sell after a 2x or 3x, a few days ago it was PLT for example, right now it might or not might be a good idea to buy.

Another risky way, you can buy something small cap (take a look at PPay or Portion, for example). In this case you might want to hold a bit longer if you're early enough.

So many newfags holding ADA and AVAX. We'll see, but historically btc, eth and useful infra on those have prevailed in the long run.
