right now if you want to have information released on a conditional basis (like paying something or uploading required docs) you have to go through a centralized provider here they can see your sensitive information

NU allows a dece third party to act as the intermediary without ever actually seeing the info.

can't really break it down or make it more digestible than this

release schedule https://www.nucypher.com/nu-release-schedule.pdf

most of the tokens are used for staking so it's similar to GRT in that sense

health care something that it's currently being used for based on an interview with their ceo. any sort of confidential information you don't want to release until a "condition" happens so it's a pretty broad application.

Or, if you'd prefer, docs.nucypher.com, which links to their white papers.

this is just what is functional today.
NuCypher has plans to do FHE. Contract privacy for ethereum.
No one does this shit on eth cause it would be retarded to post your genome or taxes or anything to the blockchain. everyone can see that shit and its there forever.
imagine if eth were unlocked 1000x capacity since private/personal data could be processed.
its the missing piece with eth, link, grt.
distributed network, data providers, search, all that is needed is a privacy model.
their system is even on wikipedia beating all the other crap homomorphic systems.
its over they just need money and time.

I've been getting sick of being on biz day and night so I wanted to split my 10k into 2 coins and just forget it about it until I either lose everything or make some gains. I put half in UNN and the other half been considering this and ROSE

Brainlet here. How is that actually different form a basic smart contract which is executed when certain conditions are met?

Could the information hypothetically be stored on the dapp in an encrypted from? I guess it would be expensive to hold the info on chain, at least with the current state of ETH.

>> No.28845030

>>28844779

yeah but at that point it's not really decentralized is it? the point is to not let anyone see it and have a the intermediary hold the info (without them seeing it) until the triggers are met. all info held on the chain would be public and subject to a simple query so that wouldn't be a good idea.
