Weak fud. Those are the genesis coins and those get dished out to pay for the staking over the next 10 years, the supply caps at 10billion. The rest are sold off to pay for new projects and devs. The only thing that matters is
1. Supply and Demand, and crypto market has obviously had far more demand with people pouring money into the sector so the amount of additional Algorand put into circulation is still clearly outweighed by new inflows into the space.
2. Incentives for owning. Algo provides retard proof staking, which is what was one of the main reasons I was drawn to it. What do you get from owning most other coins? The right to vote for some bullshit that you aren't ever going to do. Boomers are going to love this coin as they start coming into the crypto market. "I can haz 7% APY?"
3. Future potential and sustainability. Better than ETH, faster, cheaper, and more scalability gives more people incentive to start adopting Algorand going forward over Eth which is absolutely crippled by its mining fees.
