This isn't a bullrun, DeFi is a new industry.

You're just getting in at the ground floor.

>> No.28772087

BTC already went up 1225 % in less than a year. The bullrun is close to the end you imbeciles.
>b-b-bust last time it went up 2000 %!
Going from 1000 to 17000 requires far less money than going from 4000 to 49000. The amount required ups exponentially until going up 1 % requires millions.
>muh institutional investors!
Not only 'institutions' go against the entire point of BTC, they don't give a fuck if BTC thrives or not and they're not going to put money they need into it. They're just using it to make a quick profit and dump their bags.

no, because 1. bitcoin is more distributed (in terms of supply) now as a lot of big holders sold last cycle and 2. the halving cut supply

They are measuring it from the previous all time high. 2017, 1k to 20k is about 2000%. We can go to 400k and still be less than 2000%.

>> No.28773591

>>28772087
we have been over this a 1000 times thats not how tradeable assets work
marketcap is total volume times last price a unit exchanged hands
considering bitcoin can be traded in satoshis that means a 100 usd buy at markettop can lift the mc by 10's of millions
there is no real difference in going from 1000 to 17.000 and from 4000 to 250.000
its buyers vs sellers and if there are buyers with a decreasing volume on exchange price will go up
that is until longterm hodlers decide to cash out and they will not move until at least 200k

I believe it. but not just because crypto is be coming so valuable, its becasue all the international fiat is absolutely fucking worthless!!! national debts are unpayable. taxes are maxed out. and corona is speeding the process up. in ten years time, there wont be a USD/btc, EURO/btc etc connection to crypto anymore than there is a Finnish marka/btc today. paper money is dead money.

if you really were watching crypto since then you would know that that particular bubble was fully fraudulent due to the willybot/mtgox scam and as such is not representative of anything
comparing the current bullrun to the 2016 halving is better as that one had no fraud
and thusfar the graphs are showing this bullrun is on steroids compared to last time

thats a fair criticism, nobody can truly say what the future holds
but if basing on chart performance all the crap about cycle lengthening and price weakening is thrown out the window, we are surpassing the 2016 GBR by a decent margin
