Okay, so going through old options data is horrendous but so far it appears that LEAP puts on SQQQ might actually have higher returns than TQQQ.
Similar story with SOXS and SOXL. There is also a less than obvious advantage to them. Because their underlyings are usually "cheaper" these LEAPs are as well.
I think its because SOXS and SQQQ also suffer from contango issues that causes them to bleed more than their bullish counterparts in sideways markets.
