In any given week over the long term, there is an approximately 34% probability of the price moving down 8% from the start of the week and the same probability of moving up 8%.
Year to date, in any given day, there is an approximately 34% probability of the price moving up or down 4.64%.
In any given week, the probability of moving up or down in excess of 32% is approximately zero. In any given day, the probability of moving up or down in excess of 18.56% is approximately zero.
I am tracking this on a rolling basis. Pic related, and .xlsx at the link. I use weekly values long term so I don't need to correct for the benchmark (GSPC)'s weekend values. On the daily side, I use the last average for weekend values.

I wouldn't call it a major dip
Today the price has moved down 3.56% which is less than one standard deviation. This is, by all accounts, a very normal day in bitcoin.
I can't time anything. I can only tell you probabilities in specific windows of time.
For instance, a one standard deviation move downwards can happen multiple days in a row.
However, bear in mind the weekly movement probabilities.
As I said there is approximately zero chance of the price moving down more than 32% in any given week (P(z>=4) ≈ 0)
Also, if you look at the net delta values in that sheet, you see that in the long term bitcoin's direction is up up up. AND that in the long term you are paid substantially more for the same amount of risk than you are in the S&P 500.

I don't know, make sure you learn the basics I guess? There's just too much stuff and I have no idea how much you already now.
>which coins should i invest in?
Don't feel like going into specific coins, but I'd recommend diversifying, and always keeping a good portion of your portfolio in blue chip coins, then use the rest to buy some coins you've done research into and think they seem good. Don't just buy stupid meme shit or pajeet p&d coins shilled here.
>how much money should i invest so start with? 1,000 dollars?
As much as you can afford to lose. I started with $6000, but all the way back in 2013.
>what crypto exchange should i work with?
Binance is my go-to for most things, though I use Bitstamp for cashing out.
>what crypto hard wallet should i buy ?
I have several Ledger devices and they're the only hardware wallets I've used, so those are the only ones I can vouch for. They're good, though I'd order from their official Amazon store and not through their e-commerce site given their awful track record. Just make sure it's the official store and keep an eye out for a supply chain attack.

No idea about which VPN providers work for that, since I've never had to use it.

Massive weight off my shoulders, though I haven't really put the money to much use yet. I was going to spend a lot by traveling and shit last year, but corona cucked me, so my plans are on hold for now. You'd probably need to ask me again in a year or two for a more interesting answer.
