With LTO DIDs, you can basically guarantee the identity of the person you're working with without any outside verification. This is especially important for Know Your Customer (KYC) laws in the EU. Where previously verifications for banking customers could take weeks, using LTO will allow it to be done pretty much instantly. A transaction is processed every time a company runs a request using DIDs to verify someone's identity.
