28705525 No.28705525 [Reply] [Original]

Welcome to the general thread for all discussion in relation to /ourcoin/.

News:
- Full Uniswap integration (get the best rates between the two automatically by using Rubic exchange) to be released March 1st
- Limit Orders for ETH/RBC to be released February 26th
- Korean social group to be started next week.

Way more bullish than the AMA
RBC/ RUBIC GENERAL
>Rangers unite edition

- 50% rise in Rubic holders in February alone
- Liquidity locked
- Cross chain integration complete.
- MyWish/RBC Airdrop scheme in progress
- Limit orders announced February 26th!!!!
- Major exchanges being contacted regarding RBC listings EOM / early March
- 6204 Holders and growing

WEB:
https://rubic.exchange

WHERE TO TRADE RBC:
rubic.exchange / uniswap / probit / bilaxy

COMMONLY SPAMMED FUD:
>Rubic is a coordinated discord pump & dump that appeared overnight with hundreds of memes
>Growth is inorganic and did not originate from /biz/
The above FUD is pasted in every RBC thread & parroted by newcomers incessantly
Below is a link to one of the original threads that actual /biz/ bros will remember.
Doing due diligence on this is easy but fudders know how lazy/new most of you are.

Rubic is positioned to offer a handful of major features which could make them one of the strongest dexs out there, L2 is just part of it.
L2

Limit orders
Implementing their own price aggregator

Overall Rubic is actually shaping up to be incredibly ambitious. Dexs like Uniswap are popular simply because they're there. Rubic could easily replace them.

Another competitor is great however the team behind Rubic have already proven themselves with Mywish and have consistently been ahead of their roadmap. >limit orders
Basically you set a price that you want to buy or sell a coin/share at. For example if I wanted to buy Rubic during dips I would put a buy order in for 1 ETH at 0.0001 ETH. If the price of Rubic were to hit 0.0001 ETH or lower it would automatically place my buy order. You can do the opposite and put in a sell order for when it hits a certain price.

It benefits people because it means that you can maximize your profit and minimize your losses if need be. That way if you make a short term investment you can set a sell order in case the price starts to plummet when you're away. This is especially good for crypto markets which can be incredibly volatile.

It's also a good step in the right direction for Rubic to become a proper exchange. RBC/ETH is the first and probably easiest to accomplish but once set up it paves the way for limit orders with different coins

Sorry for the long explanation

Depends on whether or not you trade tokens on the regular or you hold. I've always found them easier for shares over crypto as crypto prices can be insanely volatile (ASKO dropped around 75% in 12 hours today) however they have their uses. I usually set a sell limit to 40% of my initial investment and then a couple of hours later put a buy order in for the price I sold at. That way if it goes back up you retain most of your stack minus gas fees etc. Right now though Rubic has a low market cap so it's incredibly volatile so I won't until it becomes more stable possibly around the 10k users mark.

It's better for daytraders however daytrading is far too stressful so I usually give it a miss.

This was back in 06, with a group called SeeYa.
The girl who fell is a backup dancer.
It is hard to understand for westerners, but backup dancers are in the same category as restaurant servers. They are treated like trash by their seniors. But many of them want to make their big break and are competing hard with the others. Industry image is much more important now so this kind of thing would not happen, but it still shows the difference in respect people receive. These girls are chewed up by the system and spat out, only a few will ever make it anywhere and most are very exploited.

K-pop's dark side, could be said for all of popular culture

So, why not get started with some memes for that demo
No need for moral fagging
Acting with some kind of agency to capture normies attention through simple
guerilla marketing
None of us want Rubic to be .35-.40 stable coin
Ultimately, the project and development team will speak for itself
But for the time being. Lets give it a go. What do we have to lose?

ASKO could be good if the team stops being retarded. They obviously tried to capitalise on their momentum and rushed their shit. If they'd held out a week to polish it and not do dumb shit like put a dog as the CEO it would've been great.

Hopefully this was a learning experience for them. That being said Rubic is a much better project all around since they have the experience from Mywish and high gas prices is one of the biggest issues in crypto right now.

I got in around 2016/2017 during the massive bullrush but by then I had already decided to get into crytpo investing/. Don't bother throwing $20 at anything because you will lose it all on exchange fees and gas fees.

If I was you I would put $100 into Bitcoin (which while boring is a relatively safe bet) and $100 Ethereum which you should then trade for RBC. You'll lose some money in the purchase of RBC but it's the same with most alt-coins.

>>28705560
Here is a guide on how to purchase it.

That way you'll have $100 in something safe and $100 in a solid moonshot which is a pretty decent start. Just remember that crypto is pretty volatile and that RBC is a long hold so price fluctuations and FUD is to be expected.

You keep browsing and do your own research. You will learn by doing, and learn by losing.

Go for coins that have non-anonymous team and a real use case. Stay away from meme coins unless you can stomach very high risk.

For big short term gains, ideally you want low market cap. Join some pump groups on discord if you rely want to go the shit coin route.

Try to ignore fuds and shills until you have done research.

Start by buying BTC, ETH to get a feel for it if you haven't already. If you want to yolo shit coins, setup a Metamask wallet, and try to interact with uniswap and see how high gas fees are first.

Have an exit strategy, on risky coins be prepared so take profits if there is a sharp pump.
For long hold coins with future potential, don't try to swing just accumulate on the dips over your intended hold period.

At what point would there be stability? There’s already over 6000 unique wallets holding rubic and yet a handful of whales can still dramatically change the price. Would it need to match 1inch at over 40000 to get the same stability?

The dynamic between wallets/whales is a fluid one, but generally the more wallets the better. Doesn’t necessarily need to be giganumbers, but there needs to be enough people interested in the coin’s performance to make whales think twice about swinging. Whales exist in every project, you need to get comfortable with that fact.

I am bullish enough on rubic to accept issues like whales but I don’t understand the motivation behind the whales trading actions since it hit 80c

Now it's as stable as any 6000 wallet coin, consider that volume is important too in keeping the price stable... prob 10 k would make it stable
