They do not need to buy RLC to use the network. RLC is now wrapped and used for nodes/servers which the companies then rent. It is centralised bullshit onto a decentralised network and our tokens will get wrapped and only increase in value as more people use the wrapped RLC netowk. STFU, faggot.
