>research spot prices
>look up what the best form is (going with bars)
>see what shops sell for
>gold (oz) has ~2.5% over spot as expected
>silver has 30%+

Silberbarren werden vom BRD-Regime mit 19% versteuert. Münzen sind die bessere Option.

then you don't have to pay taxes, but you will still have to pay high premiums at the moment because the Americans are in a silver buying frenzy. Check out /pmg/.

You have to try again (pro tip: it's not bars)

Silver is unironically a peasant metal.

I was buying silver before the 2020 stock market crash and saw how bullshit it is compared to gold
>stocks crash
>gold skyrockets to all time highs
>silver hits $25 and stays there, barely movies
>stores online and IRL are sold out of silver and gold
>the SELLING PRICE of silver is actually like $28+/oz but the official spot is still $25/oz

basically silver is only a thing because it is affordable. People and groups with a lot of cash aren't intimidated by the price of gold and will buy a lot of that because they aren't on a budget.

It doesn't move, even when stores are sold out and even when the actual buying price is waay over spot price. Don't buy it.

Also yeah bars are the most efficient bang for your buck. It costs the least per oz and you avoid some bullshit subjective speculative market of if a buyer wants wookies or a certain year/condition on his shit and that affecting the value.

Looks like you can get some on silvergoldbull for ~23% over spot if you pay with bitcoin but idk if they're adding VAT. Can't find any bloody Estonian VPN to check.

Meh, silver gets used up and is easier for circulation so it seems to be a better idea to diversify.

It does, watch the market, there's typically a several % spike several times a week that immediately dissipates- also sometimes they'll drop millions/billions of slv certs if they want to drop the price down a few dollars. Though the volumes are getting higher because the upward pressure is growing.

gold's "value" is all smoke and mirrors. People pay for it just because it looks pretty. Silver is actually needed in the electronics industry, and would still be valuable when people stop caring about shiny things.
I'd rather invest in something actually useful like Rhenium than gold.

if you intend to actually resell the stuff at some point, get coins. They're much harder to fake than large bars, meaning people will be less hesitant to buy from no-name private sellers.

you can buy coin silver/sterling and get it smelted for a fee. then you can have pure that you know is pure.
