Silver and oil is different in that silver is a monetary metal.
It's pricing deduces both from industrial demand as well as monetary demand.
The banks want silver as amonetary metal to be history since stacking silver is a direct competition to their business. So they manipulate the price down so that it becomes less interesting for the population to put their savings in silver. As time passes the population will forget the link of silver as a money and it will lose its status as a monetary metal entirely. If this occurs, the price of silver would drop substantially and the banks would actually profit from their large short position.
This is the true manipulation, the manipulation of culture into abandoning silver as a store of value. And this is the true reward for the banks, more savings in the banking system and less in gold and silver.
Oil cannot be manipulated in that way, oil is a purely industrial commodity. If you artificially push price down in oil you will create larger demand and the market will call your bluff.
If you manipulate price down from silver consumption might increase but investment interest will go down.
But they've been very blatant and not very popular. I bet once the crypto move ends, a lot of libertarian millionaires will go back to silver. I myself am amassing a 10k+ oz stack and without crypto i would probably have left it at a 1-2k stack.

yes, gold will drop as interest rates rise however it won't take long before those rising interest rates will cause the stock market and all other speculative assets to crash
the fed will then either have the choice of lowering interest rates causing gold to skyrocket or allow the crash to continue and interest rates to rise

during the crash everything will crash, including gold, however gold will crash less than everything else and gold is will start rising not long after even if the fed doesn't lower interest rates since people will seek out safe havens in the total chaos
a 1:1 gold to dow ratio is very likely

I keep seeing the big names talking about how silver is starting a 10 year bull run, how $50 is a target within the next 3 years, and how amazing and bullish that is.

Am I insane to actually be expecting closer to $1000 by the end of this month or next?

The way I see it, the communists/NWO/Great Reset crowd just successfully pulled off their coup on the USA, and they're moving quickly to destroy the financial system, reset everything and kill as many as they can in whatever way they can. The shortage has already reached 1000oz bars and they are being traded off market at $250/oz.

I really do not think it will be long, AT ALL, until prices absolutely skyrocket and the economy, stonks, USD all crumble. End of this month, or end of next month at latest.

Am I insane or is this what's happening?

Yes. Hyper-inflation is a longer process than that and it takes longer for real prices to be affected by the brrrr than you think. And physical prices and spot prices won't go to $1,000 that fast at all. Take it easy, we've years. $50 is a high price target for EOY

No, you're not insane. What's insane is the masses (including mainstream analysts) believing this clownworld can go on forever without consequence. Literally everything in our society is based on lies. The oppression narratives (white vs minority, men vs women, straight vs gay, etc), hate whitey, all human races are the same, fiat is a long-term monetary solution, women can become men and men can become women, children can choose their "gender," sexual promiscuity is healthy, standards are fascism, the least productive companies in the world are simultaneously the most valuable, etc etc.

Literally everything our society is working on is a lie. From head to tail, it's all bullshit. This sort of thing can't last forever, and when it comes down it is going to be biblical.

SLV's updated prospectus, dated February 8 and posted at the iShares internet site here --
https://www.ishares.com/us/literature/prospectus/p-ishares-silver-trust-......

-- reads as follows:

"The demand for silver may temporarily exceed available supply that is acceptable for delivery to the trust, which may adversely affect an investment in the shares.

"Risks Related to the Shares.

"A sudden increase in demand for shares that temporarily exceeds supply may result in price volatility of the shares.

"A significant change in the sentiment of investors towards silver may occur. Investors may purchase shares to speculate on the price of silver or to hedge existing silver exposure. Speculation on the price of silver may involve long and short exposures. To the extent that the aggregate short exposure exceeds the number of shares available for purchase, investors with short exposure may have to pay a premium to repurchase shares for delivery to share lenders.

"In turn, those repurchases may dramatically increase the price of the shares until additional shares are issued through the creation process. This could lead to volatile price movements in shares that are not directly correlated to the price of silver.

"The trading price of the shares has recently been, and could potentially continue to be, volatile.

"The trading price of the shares has been highly volatile and could continue to be subject to wide fluctuations in response to various factors. The silver market in general has experienced extreme price and volume fluctuations that have often been unrelated or disproportionate to factors such as silver's uses in jewelry, technology, and industrial applications, or cost and production levels in major silver-producing countries such as China, Mexico, and Peru.

"In particular, supply chain disruptions resulting from the Covid 19 outbreak and investor speculation have significantly contributed to recent price and volume fluctuations."

One good thing about gold: it does retain value. Erb and Harvey compared the salary of Roman soldiers 2,000 years ago to what a modern soldier would get, based on how much those salaries would be in gold. Roman soldiers were paid 2.31 ounces of gold per year, while centurions got 38.58 ounces.2

Assuming $1,600 per ounce, a Roman soldier got the equivalent of $3,704 per year, while a U.S. Army private receives $17,611. So a U.S. Army private gets about 11 ounces of gold (at current prices). That's an annual investment growth rate of about 0.08% over approximately 2,000 years.

A centurion (roughly equivalent to a captain) got $61,730 per year, while a U.S. Army captain gets $44,543—27.84 ounces at the $1,600 price, or 37.11 ounces at $1,200. The rate of return of 0.02% per year is essentially zero.

The conclusion Erb and Harvey have arrived at is that the purchasing power of gold has stayed quite constant and largely unrelated to its current price.

One more thing because I have to make this clear: I understand the endgame very well just like you. But you are mistaken in your belief that it will all happen this year. It's very unlikely that silver goes to $1k by EOY. And it's very unlikely that a total shift of power from the West to the East occurs in one year. Let's take things one step at a time and consider that these things take years, not months. First trade opens up, little by little. Then inflation begins kicking in. And then we'll start seeing CBDC's and UBI being brought up more and more in politics, and people will graciously cheer politicians and central bankers on. And so, little by little the citizens become more dependent on their governments. This will take years.

Silver in London's underground vaults is running low.

Derivative powers that be are on full defense.

Going on various fiat bubble vision shows, trying to belittle growing interest and physical bullion buying.
Not gonna work. Surely along the way, they will win day-to-day derivative battles. Ultimately, they will lose the physical bullion war.

Ronan Manly of BullionStar reported this past week about shrinking London silver bullion float inventories here on ZeroHedge.

According to Ronan's best estimates of this convoluted almost fully opaque market. Just over 100 to 125 million troy ounces of silver remain unallocated in London.
As we have seen thus far in 2021, one hundred to one hundred twenty-five million troy ounces of silver can be bought out by investors in a mere matter of a few heavy buying and silver betting days.

Earlier this week, I sat and listened through a bunch of #SilverSquealer interviews scoffing at the influence of new silver bullion and $PSLV share buyers. This week we will focus on the head of commodities research at Goldman Sachs, Jeff Currie.

In the video above, we cover some of Jeff Currie's February 2nd, 2021 interviews where he tries to.

Only but a handful of days before Jeff Currie went on TV and lied to everyone, the CME Group COMEX silver futures contract size limits doubled from 1,500 to now 3,000 contracts. So Comex traders can soon legally hold sway over a 15 million leveraged price discovery derivative position. Of course, read too that these position limit doublings are merely effective in April 2021, not to be held under compliance until 2022.

But since JP Morgan has such an outsized position underlying over half the fraction silver bullion COMEX pile, it will be through their COMEX warehouse-size that they will likely continue trading exempt from these new 3,000 contract position limits. Working for alleged clients like perhaps the People's Bank of China for instance

While the media continually wants to spin this ongoing #SilverSqueeze, playing it off as mere retail bullion buying populism. The underlying truth is that we will likely continue to see larger financial players, commercial users, and perhaps even sovereign nations enter into the fray.

Some to merely make momentum trade profits, but some perhaps even, to better secure strategic silver bullion stockpiles for their future.
Last few years China's silver import demand has plateaued around 3,500 metric tonnes per yr, a little over 110 million ounces per yr.

That is nowhere enough silver for the coming production needs and ambitions of the Chinese 2049 agenda.

I am showing this to you because the silver squeeze will likely become way larger than the mere retail level.

Like Russia, China has been gearing up and stockpiling for this 21st Century cold war.

Of course, everyone paying attention already knows about the massive tonnage of gold both those nations stockpiled in the 2010s.

What we do not know is just how much silver bullion do the Chinese authorities have stockpiled?

How are they going to bid silver away from growing western silver store of value buyers

if you can find one, get a BCM, they are generally reasonably priced.

https://bravocompanyusa.com/ar15-upper-receiver-groups/

then you just need to buy a complete lower which is usually a couple hundred bucks. The quality of the lower matters a lot less than the upper. Get a complete Anderson lower for instance, ship it to a local FFL, now you have a very good AR for around $1,000.

>A PSA complete lower + MOE upper are $700. Add $100 for a rear sight
thats 800$. i got my S&W MP15 for 525$ that included all of that except it wasnt Magpul MOE furniture. the entry level ARs are way overpriced right now.

ALSO you're neglecting the ammo costs. 7.62x39 is ~45cpr. 5.56 is like 85cpr. check this math

2500 rounds of 5.56 brass = 2125$
2500 rounds of 7.62 steel = 1125$ + new AK for 1000$ = 2125$

the AK ammo savings literally pay for the cost of 2500 rounds + a new AK47 versus if you went with AR/5.56

For the record I have both, but I've only shot my AK over the past year because the AR ammo is so expensive. so if money is a factor, then the AK definitely is still relevant and there are plenty of options for accessories / parts / mags. you can swag out an AK just as much as you can as an AR.

The current situation is completely untenable. They stole the election, everyone knows it, and they're calling half the country terrorists. Honestly the fact that there hasn't been a right-wing terrorist attack or even a false flag is fucking incredible desu. Kudos to Trump if peacefully selling us into slavery was the goal.

The elites are paranoid as fuck that the current peace isn't going to hold. They stretched their bullshit upside down reality as absolutely far as it would go and won. They are moving very quickly. The longer it takes, the more likely some court calls out the election bullshit, or some right-wing nut does a right-wing nut thing, or the propaganda stranglehold breaks, or the economy goes too far down the shitter and causes real riots, which would fuck all of their long-laid plans.

There's much, much bigger forces at play. Destroying the USD is the next step. Ironically, silver is probably going to be the driver for a massive increase in money velocity and thus inflation, along with the current UBI-lite and stimulus.

Plus, the silver shortage is already hitting the 1000oz bars. The squeeze is already here. Silver is the first domino and it's going to fuck the entire system virtually overnight.

theyre probably talking about (((opportunity cost)))

anyone who wants to play chicken with a freight train i welcome to do so in my book, I do not regret holding through the last year in the slightest now that the great price discovery is upon us, but i certainly could have gotten more (((((fiat))))) to stack with.

nobody knows the day or the hour, and I am not getting caught with my pants down.

Idk. Seems like musk would be earlier than the last incoming.
I've only had one irl normie buy bitcoin from me.
I imagine the top will be when more than half of them have done it.
I give everyone $10 worth of lightning to get them introduced.
Basically just so I can keep an eye on them and use them to call the top.
When they all start buying instead of just sitting on the $10 I gave them I will know the top is in and I will sell.

What you crypto zoomers don't understand is that numbers are not supposed to go up forever. You can ride these clown economy bubbles but at the end of the day if you don't take profits they are just paper gains and you'll end up bagholder. Now you have real assets and real wealth in PMs that is not "losing gains" that is profit taking and every smart person does not since timing bubbles is nothing but degenerate gambling.

at the end of the day I ask myself, would i hold bitcoin/crypto for the rest of my life? probably not.
would i hold gold/silver for the rest of my life? fuck yes i would

crypto is for speculation so you can eventually cash it out into other assets like gold/silver, a house, guns/ammo, land / a farm, a business, whatever. hardly anyone in crypto is in there because they have a deep understanding of the projects and they truly believe in the business. its 99% speculators looking for massive gains they can cash out and buy other better assets with

thats fine but you are 100% upside - you haven't planned for a single dip in any of your assets. this is why hedge funds are called HEDGE funds; because the smart money knows to hedge their assets

there is no better hedge than gold. its the only asset that has existed with value for 10,000 years. if you have 6+ figures and don't have 5-10% of that in gold, then you're fucking up.

I would say low premiums. Your exception would be if you think you can make money on the premiums on some meme bullion by knowing that you can buy cheaper and resell to someone who likes the meme. This is very situational so unless you know this is the case, don't bother.

Its not clear who has actual product in stock and who doesnt at this point.
A lot of people, myself included, are waiting out in the wind for our product to come in.
I don't think its too late... atlest if it is im as screwed as you... but I would call the main dealers rather than just buying on the website.
Ask them if they actually have the product they claim in their vault or are they acting as an intermediary for the bullion banks.
If its the latter try to find another.
Contrary to being too late, you might be amazingly on time.
Good luck and god speed.
