It does most of the time. Once in awhile it will invert for 1-3 weeks then resettle into the old pattern. It's consistent to condition the people who are in the market into manageable behaviors.

The whole thing is just waxing and waning exchange rates between alts and ETH and BTC with occasional profit taking from ETH and BTC into fiat to keep the lights on and the mining rigs running and the shills doing reinforcing the conditioning.
