Hey /biz/, soon I will be inheriting around £300k. I don't have an immediate need for the money. I'd love to grow it a bit, though it feels like bad timing with the way markets are at the moment...

Anyone have any good ideas for what I should do with it?

Diversify
My current portfolio is a bit of silver, a bit of fiat and most in btc.
Whatever you do I would diversify and not leave too much in any fiat.
i hope you make it fren

I don't want to be bagholding bars of silver. I already diversify where I can.

>>28696622
Feels too high at the moment for that, though if >>28697128 happens I might be tempted.

>>28696695
Sounds like a scam.

I don't have the mental fortitude for a business right now, nor do I have any good ideas.

>>28697300
Dunno, I was hoping someone would have a dumb idea like >>28697383
that actually pays off.

>>28697376
Have you seen house prices around here lately? I'd prob get one then the market would crash or something!

Put £140k into ETFs gradually over time (£10k a month until you've spent 140k). Go like 90%full market tracker 5%clean energy 5% emerging markets).

Then put £140k into ETH/LINK/BTC, slowly over time. Buy £5k of each every 2 weeks until you've spent £140k.

Tell yourself you only inherited £20k. That's still a nice amount. Go on a nice holiday or buy a new PC or something, enjoy it.

And then enjoy being a millionaire in 5 years, and a multi-millionaire in 10. You're welcome!
