Bugs like this should be made front page news and the price should reflect the gravity of the situation. This is literally about as bad of a bug as you can have on a crypto platform. Ya I don't necessarily think this should be the end for avax or that it should be shorted to $0 or something, but there should be a heavy correction/consequences for rushing a product launch. Like, if first movers are allowed to just release flawed products and still maintain an advantage over companies that methodically test, research and audit their code to launch without bugs, I don't think that's the market working as intended.

If you're still bullish on avax longterm, you should buy the dip, but the significance of this bug/exploit shouldn't be understated either. Neither should avax's response.

No, it was an issue on crosschain transfer, I checked it myself with API calls, there is only one block with one tx in it on the X-Chain, but the minting on the C-Chain happened 7 times, so I think Emin is not lying when he said there was no double spend.

The market works the way the market wants to work. AVAX will still be valued higher than any ot the hypothetical vaporware things out there like ADA simply because it is, or was, operating. There is no "should correct more" simply because you want it to. If the market believes they corrected quickly enough and made the chain more robust it will moon again. Thats obviously a big "if" at the moment and the signs arent good - my personal bet is that they do - which is why I am buying more now but I accept its a gamble. Yours is that they wont - which is fair - which is why you short it. Both are fair, acceptable positions. You need to take your emotion out of it and try and stop thinking the market "should" act in a certain way. Thats not how markets work.
