iExec have made it possible to run legacy software built for x86-64 based operating systems on top of a blockchain. This means that legacy software can now have dapp benefits. Could be any number of factors. It was an extremely ambitious project, it's remarkably impressive that they have already finished everything they set out to complete in their original white paper. I not aware of one single other crypto project which has achieved this.

Doesn't change the fact that secure fog compute will be a paradigm shift for computing. It's not a matter of if, but when. All the big tech companies seem entirely aware of this. Everyone is working with iExec now, from universities to microsoft and google, to hardware manufacturers like nvidia.
