Yes. Even if you choose to stake your 15k xsn the block rewards only will be decent income (once the dex is released and the price increases).

Once we get to stage 3 hydra, your masternode will be able to earn trading fees. By that time who knows how high the price of xsn will be (in turn your block rewards will be up massively).

Because there isn't any other cross chain 'dex'. Stakenet is the only dex with a working product that has tested lightning swaps and gotten them stable. Connext is in the works atm.

ARPA looked like incredibly promising tech at the time and in theory it still is. Unrivaled and already fully functional. The tokenomics are just outdated and they have no paid shills, that accounts for 90% of the price of any token. Tech is the other 10%.

All of uniswap is eth. Eth tokens will be added slowly but on stage 3 hydra any node should be able to host any token, as each node runs an orderbook. (the dex just puts them all together to keep it simple).

You only pay the gas fee when you create a channel or move your funds to layer 2. Lightning network submarine swaps will help with this though but i'm unsure on the specifics. As for connext, if your channel is already open you can deposits funds straight to the channel. So you never have to close it or reopen it. So if you have eth on a cex you can pay your withdrawal fee and put it straight to your layer 2 address.

Xsn/btc seems to work fine. Eth pairs are debatable due to the connext channels still being tested. Ltc pair should work but has no volume/liquidity atm.

It won't really lower in value. The blockrewards are designed to be a seesaw, so 45% goes to stakers and 45% to nodes.

If there are more nodes, stakers get them more often and vice versa. Of course blockrewards are only 1 income stream.

I think the focus is layer 2 first, no point doing layer 1 yet since uniswap already does that. The aim is high frequency traders atm. So bots and algorithms and aggregators help too. Onchain dexs can't do that due to gas fees and confirmation time. But layer 1 atomic swaps is still possible the devs just need to make the function on the dex.
