NFTs are basically a way to create a completely unique representation of something on the blockchain, which has no duplicates and is thus rare.

Unfortunately most NFT projects so far are only providing these shitty "art" pieces, but the potential is enormous, imagine real estate or luxury items can also be transcribed

Barnbridge ($BOND) uses NFTs to create Bonds like the traditional financial markets, $MPH uses to create receipts of future deposits and Premia is using erc-1155 nfts for an Option market

If u can find NFTs being used to create financial instruments you will make money.

NFTs are not just hype they make things so much better and have a real world use case. Defi is just a levered casino right now.
