What retarded company or developer would use the blockchain for data storing, it's an old technology that has existed since before bitcoin

How do you think banks are storing your data?
How do you think government stores your information?
Fucking blockchain? You're retarded

The Graph, just like every other shitcoin is just another form of marketing to get stupid people who aren't tech savvy enough to research to get into the scam
Investors/whales are the ones that can get into it and get out with profit because they can manipulate the market

This is called a pennant, a bullish sign. When volume was high, the price picked up because there’s a ton of interest. Now, volume has dropped considerably and most people are holding, as well as normies taking a break. So it forms this shape. Really just bots and swingies passing it back and forth. Once volume picks up again, so will interest, and we’re back in business. Do not mistake this for a bearish shape. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand The Graph. The technology is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical indexing most of the graphs will go over a typical retard's head. There's also Yaniv's jewish outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Satoshi-Vitalik literature, for instance. The bagholders understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these delegations, to realize that they're not just needed - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike The Graph truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the bull signal in Yaniv's existencial catchphrase "Google of blockchain, motherfuckers" which itself is a cryptic reference to Sergey's Russian epic Pump and Dump I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Tal's genius unfolds itself on their binance screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a GRT tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 GRT of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

I plan to hold off and see what happens this summer when more tokens are dumped. If the price goes down, I will add more. At this rate though, it will probably be even higher than it is today.

Every single person in this thread is ignoring the biggest predictable pump coming soon - stimulus checks.

The stars are aligning - everyone downloaded Robinhood and Coinbase so they could get in on GME and Doge.

Now they're looking at BTC and ETH at towering heights and what do they see? The #5 held coin on Coinbase at 2 dollars and 30 fucking cents - and they click buy. We are incredibly early in GRT's story - this is just the beginning.

All alts are going to pump when that shit gets released. Family of four working from home staring at Coinbase? Here's a $3600 dollar check bud, courtesy of your government. Normies who can do math are going to realize the best they'll get from BTC this run is a 2x, maybe 3 if it goes bananas.

They'll look down the list, see GRT, do some basic research, and get in.

It's coming boys, just hold on tight.

The Graph, just like every other shitcoin is just another form of marketing to get stupid people who aren't tech savvy enough to research to get into the scam
Investors/whales are the ones that can get into it and get out with profit because they can manipulate the market

If you can't see how this is a pump and dump occuring, you deserve to lose all your money, but yeah keep doing that "research"

Nothing just, stability. More and more people are getting into crypto each day. Returns are far better than any savings account. Each day the stock market shows it is protecting its own the more people go towards coins like GRT. Once the stock market crashes you will see all coins jump from people fleeing that burning wreck system.

False. I once had a friend who thought this. One day he walked to the sea and was greeted by a strong woman. "Sit here," she said. So he sat. And she walked circles around him asking questions in such rapid fashion not only could he not verbally answer but he could not think of the answer before she asked another question. Gradually he began to fall in love with her. And as the seasons changed he grew tired and she continued to pace him in circles and ask questions at a rapid pace. Years went by. My friend - my good friend! - he grew tired and weak. What was he doing there after all these years, sitting at the seashore with this strong woman pacing around him asking him pointed, very serious questions in such a quick and thoughtless manner. One day it dawned on him that she did not care for the answer, she only cared to wield the question as a weapon, and it had worked. So he stood up, not just literally (PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP USING THIS WORD AS AN EXCLAMATION POINT YOU'RE RUINING ITS DEFINITION WHICH IS ACTUALLY QUITE IMPORTANT) but also metaphorically as he had been too weak and feeble to contest her barrage thus far. And he took the SCAR-17 out of his pocket and fired not less than all thirty rounds into her feet, at which point she fell and he left.

Ok, I will explain it to you. It's not a matter of "energy." Protocols don't require energy (a useless way to phrase it) they just need to be created, scalable, predictable, and WORK.

IT IS A PROTOCOL. Read that 5 times over. The internet, and any scalable technology, uses protocols. Have you ever heard of DNS, DHCP, or IP4? Ethernet? HTTP? SSL? Or any of the other hundreds that the internet all the way from core infrastructure to client/server relies on that are each worth probably bajillions each?

The Graph is an information fetching protocol for the blockchain. It can fetch information that is (currently) in the blockchain which is a bitch to get without an blockchain agnostic API between the blockchain and the developer; this is the problem The Graph solves.

The reason why the "internet can't do it" is because that's not what the internet does. You're using words without knowing their meaning. Protocols does not equal internet. The "internet" is very many protocols working together.

I'm holding XLM too, and XRP - its just basic strategy. The stimulus is going to absolutely flood the alt market, and both XLM and GRT have attractive attributes (for completely different reasons of course, but price point is key in this moment, and we're still in a good price range.)

Link has one problem with price - it's pumping right now on fundamentals, but I'm not sure how well it will fair against the sea of normies buying from this stimmulus check. They'll be looking for quantity if they're not buying eth or btc, and link is at a weird price point. You can buy 10x as much GRT than LINK for the same amount of money (assuming GRT doesn't fucking pump hard right before the checks issue).

ETH will get a big bump from this, but i'm not sure BTC will see as much as people think.

When people see stuff like GRT and XLM (even fucking XRP) doing new ATH's consistently within days of that check hitting, they may swap out at least temporarily to ride up with lower coins.

Just a theory.

It doesn't you braindead mong. The "internet" makes it possible to send information across small and large networks. Your information is in a centralized server, likely a datacenter in a desert away from idiots who could fuck it up. The "internet" makes it possible to fetch that data temporarily so you can see it.

So I'm convincing myself. But can someone help me understand a concept here?

Are query fees exclusively collected in GRT tokens? Or can anyone pay for a query with any acceptable coin, for example, ETH? If the Query fees are based on GRT tokens, wouldn't an increased value of GRT make queries prohibitively expensive, and force dApp developers to go back to centralized data indexing?

To answer your question, download coinbase and take a look for yourself. Take a look at the quick "what is grt " videos that are available right in the mobile app next to "buy." Those video's are A+ for explaining grt to crypto normies.

There's not a lot of selection on coinbase either. GRT is in the top 10 and is one of the cheapest for entry. It's an easy gamble.

Okay, that makes sense. But doesn't there still exist a risk of the service becoming fundamentally too expensive to use if GRT takes off? Or can the price per query be adjusted to reflect the value of the GRT coin?

It takes a few days to show up, and even longer before you can move the GRT.

Okay, good. I just hate hearing people come here to bitch about how they suck at trading. Just don’t do it if you can’t hang. Or at least do it and quit going online to bitch about how sucky you are at doing it lol. I’m close to a 20 stack, so close, but if this is all we’re getting as a dip right now, I’m as close as I’m gonna be until it goes further down. Congrats on making it anon. Really.
