Sorry to brag bizbros but I'm excited and have no friends or anyone to share this with. I came to biz in January 2017 and invested about $1000 into crypto. And now here I am. Love you biz!

>if its a meme coin like MCDC, avoid
>if its a big project like GRT or ALGO, go all in
shit made me 3k in a week and still paying off. I still kick myself for not putting more on GRT cause I went balls deep on ALGO and ADA

It's all about catching the right coins at the right times, and also selling at the right times. Taking calculated risks. I always tried to balance my portfolio between having longterm safe play holds which I knew were not outright scams, and also some high-risk, high reward shitcoins, the kind that can do a 10x overnight. So you'll never lose all your money. There's always an element of luck along the way too. You will get burned at points. But if you're lucky you'll be at the right place, right time to catch a legit gem at a bargain price and get a 100x (mine was BUIDL, bought at 5c, now at $6-$7).

In 2017 I made most of my profit in Pepecash (a stupid memecoin based on Pepe trading cards that surged in price). During spring/summer 2017 there were tons of opportunities to make money on all kinds of coins, kind of similar to how it is now actually. If you're new to crypto, now is your chance to get on some moon rides. In September of 2017 I invested in Chainlink and held that for a couple years, made some decent profit. Sold it for BSV, then in March 2020 when the crash happened I panic sold the bottom of the dip and wanted to kms when the markets bounced back. But that was actually the springboard for me to start making some serious money because in a "fuck it" moment, I decided to take a risk and bought McAfee's GHOST coin, which was probably the first coin of 2020 to go on a big run. After that, I had recovered my losses from the panic sell. And in May I bought a big fat stack of BUIDL which has since done a 140x. I made a decent amount of money on several of the Uniswap shitcoins of spring 2020. That was the best time to make tons of overnight 10x's (sushi, kimchi etc). But BUIDL was the one that really got me my huge gains.

Do you know that GHOST has a new team and is now at $0.18 price? They want to recover... but it'll not be easy.

Maybe we should create a Telegram group and research coins together?

I spotted:

1 2021
RARIBLE - bought at $1.6, now $18

summer 2020:
THETA 100x
CELSIUS 100x

2017:
CHAINLINK at $0.2x cents, I made even a screenshot with bookmarked price

trawl biz, twitter, telegram for low mcap gems or legit projects with momentum and potential. Look for good entry points (i.e. dont buy the local top).

Because the BUIDL devs were open about their identities from the very beginning and if you looked into them you can see they have some deep Ethereum Foundation connections (for example they were invited to EDCON last year). They NEVER hyped up their product (and have still yet to even begin to market it) and were solely focused on building. The product speaks for itself. They also have weekly Medium released and are always on Discord. Totally dedicated to this project. Also I was impressed by the website even though most anons on here slated it (cause it looks kinda unprofessional). But the point was clear; they're building something innovative and novel that could well become an integral part of Ethereum. DFO's are the natural evolution to DAOs and I could sense that at some point, people would catch on and buy in.

Whereas for stuff like Sushi, its clear that its just a new kind of ponziscam with very little innovation, which you're best getting in and out of quickly. There are these little fads in crypto which blow up for periods of time then basically fade out of existence. The team is probably always the most important thing to look at. If the team is anonymous, don't ever think about holding it longterm (there are very few anon dev coins which dont rug eventually).

>> No.28629609

>>28628391
Not bad but you have most of your money in GRT right now which is already a high mcap and unlikely to give big returns quickly. Keep your eye out for a low cap gem and when the time comes, put some of your GRT or INJ stack into it.

THETA - it was generating a free TFUEL for hosting a node on VPS. I was one of their first users and had many servers...

CELSIUS - My friend told me to buy, because their CEO had a good history and was reliable.

RARIBLE - I just knew about incoming NFT bullrun and spotted this as a platform with highest daily volume.

CHAINLINK - 4chan :) !!!!!!

If I was you I would be looking for sub $10m mcaps, ideally sub $2m. Those are the ones that will give you quick x's. Just be careful, lots of scams out there.

ADA GRT and ALGO are all long-term holds anyway, I wasn't planning to swing it. My issue is that GRT is moving much faster than the others so I feel like shit for having only 1k GRT while ALGO and ADA is above 3k
