Hope you're enjoying your weekend smg, here's so shit from Friday. Things that I thought were interesting on this list:
>$8 sneed call
>SOS calls
>ATOS calls
>QS calls
>$210 BILI calls
I got some 2023 SOS calls when it was -20% down at open yesterday and bought some ATOS 5c several days ago when I saw someone getting 7.5c and 10c for March/April on them. That dude that's been relentlessly shilling QS calls will probably be happy to see some more on this list and the BILI shills will probably be happy to see someone getting deep OTM calls on it. Isn't BILI getting added to some exchange soon? Maybe that's why? Anyway enjoy.

That's up to you, its kinda hard to do and I'm still learning how. It could mean that the stock in question might have a major spike coming soon or it could be some big boy selling lottery tickets to retards. Or in the case of a call option, the person that got them might be actually shorting that particular stock and are using the calls to hedge their position.
>do I understand this correctly that these call options will be executed if the strike price is met on the expiry date
You need to learn how options work. While you can buy the stock at expiry at the strike you purchased the call option, most people just flip the call premium to another person.

>picking the right theta on value plays
This was just a bunch of nonsense sorry. I meant picking the right amount of theta based on catalysts / products / pipelines. And then use value plays near a support floor ("surely the stock can't go ANY lower" type stocks) to minimize losses as well.
You see, think of options as a way of making a statement about the stock. You are not only trying to make a statement about the direction of the stock, but the velocity of that stock going in a certain direction. People who screw up with options and get scared off by them fail to understand you are making a more nuanced statement about your stock pick because you are also trying to account for that stocks velocity. If you think of options in that sense, playing options can be a lot easier.

I am making a STATEMENT about CRBP filling the gap again based on it's VELOCITY. That is why I chose April 4c instead of February, but not CRBP LEAPS....think about options as a STATEMENT.

Options are probably understood when you relate the theta (theta = time....more expensive options you buy more theta cuz you have further expiry...you bought more time) to velocity. Relate theta to velocity and you will understand options better.
For a call option, you buy certain theta because you expect the VELOCITY of a stock price to be enough to break well over that strike price by that time.....don't buy too little theta that your velocity won't be caught.

>Options are a boon for every investor who cares about making money
Oh I agree 100%, I almost exclusively trade options and pour some the profits into some boring boomer plays and other shit like SOXL, but quite a bit of people as of late have just seen the insane gains you can get with them from pics on wsb or some other place and just buy them and lose the majority of their money. Hedging your positions is insanely important cause if we somehow went into a steep downturn in the market, everyone that is exclusively in calls will get fucking obliterated. Its all about how you manage the risk and if you can't do that, you shouldn't play options. At least that's my opinion.

When I say time volatility I mean buy when vol is high or getting higher to increase chances of asymmetric returns, otherwise there is no advantage to trading the options, just trade the stock itself.
The mistake most retail traders make is to avoid high vol and think that buying low vol is the only way to go, since buying low vol which grows to high vol seems like the intuitive way to play options. But buying low vol initially always like almost CERTAINLY leads to a higher chance of volatility crush.

This is why I love muh CRBP and ATOS, I love the volatility.

>more potent than HCQ
Lol that's because HCQ does not work at all.

To quote an actual MD's analysis of the spray:

>I’m going to start off by saying I am extremely skeptical here. They didn’t publish their phase 1 results so I don’t really know what to think of that. All I could find were press releases quoting Dr. Quay and his summary of the results. Remember, phase 1 is primarily about safety and their 32-person study showed that only one of the 32 showed an adverse effect which he described as “moderate in severity.” He did not give numbers for how many of the others developed side effects but said that the rest were considered mild. Without trial data, I can’t trust someone trying to drum up support when they say it is moderate in severity.
>I’ve looked and I seem to be unable to find an actual mechanism by which this medication is supposed to work at a cellular level. I thought I had seen one a few weeks ago, but as of yet I have been unable to find it. They simply say that it inhibits essential human host proteases from activating the COVID spike protein to prevent it from infecting cells. In theory, I’m sure this can work, but the question becomes, will a nasal spray really get good penetration down into the lungs? I am extremely doubtful. My best guess is that this may be used as a preventive medication if it gets approved at all.
>My opinion: this likely will not have the data to support its use, or the data it will have will be unrealistic for real life applications. I imagine they would have a hard time preventing viral infection in the lungs regardless of whether it was prevention or reduction in symptoms with a nasal spray. As far as absorption in the nasal mucosa, maybe you could prevent that, but I am wondering how long it can be effective for? Do I need to take this every 4 hours? Is the cost or burden worth it when I can just wear a mask?
