>>28607981Well, that's the thing. It's viewed as something that should only just enable you to live hand-to-mouth. Whereas in several places around Europe it's viewed more as a job that you get something like a salary for. For example, back home you'd get something like 2000-2500€ per month and rent for a one-bedroom flat in the middle of most (non-capital) cities is around 600€. You end up with opportunities to actually save a bit. Even worse, the UK has their graduates face something like £40k debt from undergrad, which they then won't be able to even begin repaying for another 3-4 years if they do a PhD. I would have expected people on a finance board to understand why this is not a great system.I share my apartment with my gf so I end up spending about £550 per month with bills, I couldn't go much lower even if I just rented a room by myself.

fuck the english can't wait to get split off from you cunts, tore the heart out this country
>>28614493I was one of the first to buy in. I sold though. Sorry bro. We hyped it up too soon. It needed to be on coingecko and blockfolio before the moon and then it would have attracted even more people and gone even higher.
>>28614544How is tax calculated on that or is it something you can just avoid declaring? The last thing I want is for my gains to be going go Mohammed and his 12 kids.
>>28613549>>28612399>>28612323he seems blackpilled but imo he's not blackpilled enough. I like watching his interviews but it's glaringly obvious that he completely ignores the great reset and the global banking cartel. Not that anything he says in Abolition of Britain is discredited by any of that, he just fails to see that it's part of a bigger picture and he's a protestant too which is also kind of bluepilled
>>28614224It depends on your cash flow. If you have 100k going in and out all the time then it’s not unusual so they won’t care. If you have 50p in there and get 5 grand for the first time ever they will flag you for unusual activity and investigate

ACTUAL BUSINESS QUESTION*****************Has anyone ever done their own accounts for a small business? How the fuck does this CATO system make anything easier for a micro entity?

>>28614544Cheers lad. I keep having a dreadful feeling that the government will come down hard on crypto right after everyone that matters has made their money on it.
>>28616436there gonna be on a tax grab soon, all this covid shite wasnt free
>>28606563CGT question - is you take out £12.5k and immediately reinvest it, can you then take out an additional £12.5k the next year to the total of £25k all tax free?
>>28606897We literally invented business.Who has a monopoly on financial services again?
>>28616701huh?
>>28616436I have the same feelings, makes you wonder what the governments vision is for the economy, feels like a managed decline.
>>28616737
>>28616758You get £12.5k totally tax free a year. So if I take that amount out and immediately reinvest it - would it effectively be reset or does it get 'remembered'.
>>28616760they want managed inflation to wipe out the debt load, but since inflation is mostly effected by psychology in the short term once the inflation cat gets out the bag there will be rapid inflatioon

>>28617030Okay...> buy crypto with fiat = no tax> crypto goes up over time = no taxSo now that i plan to one day bring it out and doing so is taxable - i'd like to bring out the untaxable limit every year.
>>28617048Doubt they follow that for you.
>>28606897Brit threads: order, unity, fraternity, justice, comfy, home. Other threads: chaos, disunity, individualism, uncomfortable, cringe.
>>28617378yes... you can do that, it'll just take a while
I trust my fellow britbongs to shill me a coin, what should I dump 2k into?
>>28617691RLC sirs
>>28617597Yeah but i don't need my crypto right now - but it's obviously a good position if in 3 years when i might i can take out 37.5k no tax.I just wonder if it doesn't count and in 3 years i'd still only be able to take out 12.5k and it's reset.
>>28617691;)
>>28617815No you can’t reinvest your 12.5k and get it back tax free the next year...
>>28617815ok I'll level with you. A lot of people have already considered this method, but bullruns are 1 year out of every 4. If you hold through the crash you'll be way worse off than just cashing out at the peak of the bull market and eating the tax.I can't guarantee this is what everyone else is thinking, but I'm pretty damn sure
>>28617888Trips
>>28618023Just tether up and say you didn’t. Do it via monero if you want to be safe /shrugs
>>28614936Ok maybe I'll check out that video but from what I've seen/read of him I hate how tight-lipped he is about it. For someone that is in the mainstream and speaks so much sense about a lot of things I hate how he won't touch the global banking conspiracy one bit. I think he's genuine but he's doing the work a lot of controlled opposition does by giving people just enough truth but not enough to be fully aware of what's going on. I think he's just autistic about sticking to what he knows or he's worried about not being able to support his family or something, idk
>>28618140yeah that'd be the only way around it really
>>28617970Ok, i didn't think so. I'm surprised everyone seems so shocked at the question though and even unknowledgeable, i've asked accountants who have said "yeah i think you can".
>>28606563made 50 grand off link so far lads, gonna keep goin upwe're gonna have to pay capital gains of 25% or something rediculous on thisare you lads gonna pay it? or move to the isle of man for half a year
>>28618915If it's going to cost over a year of pay in tax i'll just move to portugal for the time and take it as a holiday.
Actually seemingly the wording of CGT:> "Capital Gains Tax is a tax on the profit when you sell (or ‘dispose of’) something (an ‘asset’) that’s increased in value."Suggests to me you could take out 12.5k, immediately reinvest and then take out 25k the following year given it would no longer count as profit.
>>28619214ye was thinking the same thing, would rather move somewhere for a bit if itll cost less than the cuck fee to pay for LGBT police cars and muslim pride parades no capital gains in portugal? nice
>>28608737Australia is British, just on the other side of the planet. So drowning on their own shores.
>>28619412To be quite honest i'd move even at a small cost to avoid paying for my own replacement.
>>28619357With this if I spent £200 on whatever and it went up to £400, and I cashed out £200, would that count towards the £12.5k tax free allowance? It's not profit technically because it's the same value as the original investment right?
>>28619727As far as i'm aware it's not profit so no. Until you realize your investments it doesn't count. Though i'm also trying to understand this all. As far as i can see if you invest £1000 and end up with £12500, you can take that all out - reinvest it and then if the following year you take out £25k it's still all tax free as now £12.5 is the initial investment and £12.5k the tax free profit. So it seems to me to make sense to 'bank' the maximum allowance each year.
>>28606933dont care
