Stacklet here. Premiums are massive because demand has skyrocketed, which is why everything is getting harder to find right now. The spot price on the first day of this jumped ~$2, then instantly fell right back down despite demand continuing to rise, proven by stock continuing to run out everywhere across the internet, in person dealers, and even pawn shops. The spot price is very clearly being held down artificially, and dealers of all sizes are using premiums to find the sweet spot between demand and price since the spot price isn't doing what it's supposed to.

The spot price + the average premium on generic rounds/bars you're seeing is the real spot price minus $1-2.
