You could do this for past 5 years using bitrefill or other cards.

This. Mastercard knows who you are and with snitch on you to the IRS and that is probably the (((plan))). Bitrefill on the other hand doesn't require KYC and the merchant just knows your using a giftcard you could have got from your grandma.

Bruh, they convert your crypto into USD at checkout. You're literally gonna get DPd if you go that route. Better to get a crypto credit card then a crypto debit card.

then proceed to put loaned crypto on credit card
depending on your tax jurisdiction claim returns on the loan itself

I use it a lot, really I don't think it's anywhere near 5%. If you want to autistically measure it just take a $100 giftcard and compare it to selling a $100 exchange sale. But let's say it's 10%, that's still better than the tax rate.

>> No.28594340

>>28593844
The margins differ but sometimes you even underpay.
If you’re using some low fees crypto its better to pay as you go but if you’re using eth or btc just buy usd balance giftcards and add usd balance to the account, depends on how much you use it desu. I have around $566 balance on there atm, but if you’re gonna use it sparingly or use a low fees instant crypto, just buy as you go.

I don’t store them on exchange but good to know they accept lightning.
Anyway to do lightning using Ledger?

>> No.28594873

>>28594761
I don't know bro sorry, I know electrum does lightning now and you can use that with ledger. I'm planning to get a trezor instead due to the hack.

>> No.28595030

>>28594873
Hack only exposed the data, the software is still top notch.
The problem with trezor is they don’t have a closed source way to verify authenticity of the hardware you received like Ledger does. Plus there are plenty of Trezor replicas and switcheroo cases.

>> No.28595181

>>28595030
Hmmm I don't know man, if it's closed source that does make it harder for hackers to fake, but dosen't that also mean that ledger can exit scam everyone? If that's the case you just pushed the trust problem of the exchange to the hardware wallet manufacturer.

>> No.28595314

>>28595181
No? Because you can restore the Ledger’s 24 word seed on any device heck even Electrum, to restore your wallet.

I'll give ledger a second look and take some time to do more research. I will admit the ledger looks better than the trezor and most normans will think it's a usb drive.
