Hope you bought below $200 anons

>What is Litecoin?

From Wikipedia: Litecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and open-source software project released under the MIT/X11 license. Litecoin was an early bitcoin spinoff or altcoin, starting in October 2011. In technical details, Litecoin is nearly identical to Bitcoin.

>Why invest?

>Reliable and tested coin that's almost as old as BTC
>Cheaper fees compared to BTC
>Widely accepted on reputable sites like Paypal
>Grayscale investment firm has bought 200 million dollars worth in the recent months and are still accumulating
>MWB privacy update coming soon
>Has not reached its ATH yet like BTC or ETH have
>Top ten crypto for close to a decade

>Where to buy?

Any crypto exchange really. LTC has tenure and can be reliably bought just about anywhere. If you're new, here's some suggestions.

>Coinbase
>Blockfolio
>Kraken
>Binance
>Paypal

xmr is too hard to buy these days, and xrp is in trouble if it gets delisted anywhere else due to sec issues.
ltc is about to get mimblewimble extension block privacy features which make it much harder to track usage and increases max transaction handling capabilities. ltc is already nearly free and super fast tx wise, and has tons of extra capacity, but this will make room for true mass adoption. Point of sale integration makes little sense for btc or eth, so which ultra high liquidity, ultra high usage, ultra high tx capacity coin do you think mastercard et al are eyeing?

Its centralized and has the same sec problems as xrp. If xrp's case goes to shit, xml is going south fast. Too much risk for them to adopt it.

Say if MasterCard or Visa actually started to use litecoin for daily small transactions like coffee or groceries would the network even be able to handle it? or would it turn into situation like we have with ETH where the gas fees are like fucking $50.

Very different systems, eth is bottlenecked by its global computation gas setup. ltc ultimately has a much higher and more flexible max tx limit per block.

Thanks bros. I think I might wait for a slight dip.

I don't mind waiting awhile, as this is just money which is sitting in the bank and the interest rate was halved recently so I think better to keep it here then there.

XLM is an african well building token with infiite supply. Nothing dumps harder than XLM after a rally

>> No.28574701

I predict $2k per LTC this cycle. Bitcoin was comfortably at $10k each, Litecoin has 4x the supply, so naturally that works out to $2500 each. However, Litecoin will not match Bitcoin's marketcap, so I'm just lowballing.
