Let's say Chad makes Niggercoin.

There are 10,000 niggercoins in existence, and they're all worth 1 dollar. The market cap is therefore $10,000.

Let's say they go up to 10 dollars. The market cap is now 10 x every niggercoin, so $100,000.

In crypto, the higher the market cap, the more difficult it is to see realistic movement without massive amounts of money moving. (see: Bitcoin getting institutional investors, thus causing a moon)

It's also why a 2x for Bitcoin is so much harder than a 10x for some random shitcoin that just came out the other day.
