It didn't affect the global economy (as a Brit, we were still in the Blair GoGo years)

(((Alan Greenspan))) responded by cutting rates massively to stave off what should have been a minor recession, which caused a housing bubble as Wall Street took the view that "stocks were dead". There are 100 factors behind 2008 but it's too much for your question.
S&P 500 took longer than the DJIA to revcover as the Dow is less exposed to tech as more companies are listed (tech stocks in the US are massive *and massively over valued*)
Since the S&P was more tech exposed, it had less to do with the housing market.

>> No.28555356

>>28554974
You should do both. You only need to 2x your money 6 times to get to 1m, so why don't you put aside 1k and do that, while the rest sits on soxl?
As for why everyone doesn't do soxl, it's because (((they))) FUD the shit out of it. It truly is a free pass to 40x in 10 years. Why d you think they keep harping on about muh decay and muh risk when it's clearly bullshit from historical data and, quite frankly, logic? Why do you think you need special permissions from most brokers to trade them?
Not to mention I expect this decade to actually be even MORE bullish than normal on semis because of a mix of the upcoming semi supply issues and increased surveillance state bullshitery brewing on the horizon.
Finally, the reason that big guys can't just park their money on SOXL is mostly that they can't get their money out fast enough when they need it, so they get exposed to risk that's unbearable for them. This doesn't apply if you have less than 100m or so. Moreover, they trade on insider info, which has 0 risk and far higher upside.

Why would you wait until profit taking day to buy in. Just be patient fren; APHA will turn into TLRY when the merger happens. I cannot tell you the ratio of how many shares per share. But you may secretly be holding your future kids college fund. TLRY is projected to surpass 100+ by the end of the third quarter this year.

It takes a lot of time to learn if your aim is daytrading successfully. Daytraders looking to start out should look to papertrade for a long time before expecting big league consistent success. One key thing regardless is learning trading discipline and stopping out of a trade if you don't get what you expect within a certain length of time.
What specifically are you looking at or finding difficulty with? What type of trading? Daytrading or swing trading?

I swing on blue chip stocks. I follow their calendars (events, earnings, dividends) and act based on past patterns. As for TA, I don't draw memelines, but rather look for reversals manually everyday. Kinda intuition. In bull market it's easy and risk-free mostly, because everything goes up anyway. That's why I hold some long positions too, so that I don't miss out on gap ups.
Nowadays I'm more stressed though. We're at ATH in many aspects, and so I'm afraid to keep money in anything overnight.

Your pic is a completely different farm, but it IS something they talk about doing in their slides (see pic).
About being no different than other farms, yes and no. They are no different than other RAS (i.e. fully land-based) farms, true, without the GMO. But they're very different from sea-based farms.
Additionally, compare them to Atlantic Sapphire and ASE's mcap. See where I'm going with this?
