Why is Cardano consistently going up? Is it because big brain anons realise it's the most stable and easy free money anywhere in crypto? I stake my ADA and leave it, never look at it, and it never leaves my wallet. Compounded, over 5 years, it will earn me almost $30,000 for doing literally nothing.

Why aren't you all in on this anons, do you literally hate money?

>> No.28492193

It's not, it's down way from ATH when it was worth 1 bitcoin. It's one long scam by a fat faggot

kek what a seethe post I'm literally trying to make you money anon. Down from ATH in the most ridiculous bull market ever, when everything was mooning despite not being ready? Blockchain has reached maturity, and Cardano will dominate. I'm accumulating all the way up so I can live like a NEET for the next decade off my staking rewards.

>> No.28492359

I hold it but its fucking slow, 30 days minimum to stake a low APY.

Dunno what use it has but at least I have some diversity.

It feels slow, but your staking preferences take effect from when you delegated. So even though it takes 5 epochs to show, it's still accumulating. It's a low APY compared to DeFi protocols but its more stable, safer, less liable to rugpulls and liquidity issues, and its still 6% - way more than a bank. Plus, it's compounding automatically, so you literally just watch money roll in on top of money on top of more money...

ETH 2.0 is the true vaporware coin. ETH 1.0 is now useless with $100 gas fees.

Cardano is already the most decentralized crypto. Already has staking. Native assets EOM. Ethereum is fucked longer term. Short term it's good for buying pajeets.

>> No.28493184

>>28493087
Imagine being such a brainlet you can't see how $100 in gas will limit adoption. Compare that to ADA fees which are around 0.17ADA per transaction, with NO gas fees. Check out Plutus and Marlowe Playgrounds, you can build smart contracts right now. It's already over.

>> No.28493188

>>28493027
if the apy is low that means the sell pressure of big staking entities is also low. there are entities that bought cardanos at sub cent prices. imagine if you got yourself 100 million at $0.005. you can stake and dump forever basically. thats why I like coins with low(er) staking rewards over high(er) staking rewards.

LMFAO. Literally the same people who constantly say "b-b-but link is down in sats" I bought link, the link I have was at one point worth 1.8BTC. Maxis told me to sell because I have to think of the sats! Now my link is worth 126k. Eat shit maxis.

its already showing its effects. most alts are mooning but ETH does nothing. cuz the fees are crippling it. BNB took a huge marketshare of ETH too. people moving to binance smart chain and pancakeswap. the more weeks go by with big ETH transaction costs the more market share they lose. A lot of projects on ETh cant even move forward cause the fees are too high.

yeah the big benefit is your coins aren't locked up anywhere, you can still spend them and they are safe in your wallet. So it's 0 risk and 0 inconvenience to delegate your ADA, it's not a whole lot but it's free money

Nice graphic anon. IOHK's pool is dwindling as they let community stake pools take the lead. They are now delegating to stake pools that support charities, which proves it's not all about the money for Charles Hoskinson. He could make an insane amount running his own stake pools. Same with the Cardano Foundation, they delegate to community-led stake pools and don't run their own pools. There isn't a more decentralized protocol in crypto, over 1,600 independent pools. How can ETH cucks ever compete?

>> No.28493649

Bitcoin isn't even worth a trillion, I think it should be worth 10T at least which is on par with gold, so I think ADA has also has some more room to grow than we might think. $10 only puts it at 400 billion, probably not this year though, but who knows. I know it feels like this is the peak but crypto is still ludicrously undervalued in the grand scheme of the world's economy

The % doesn't matter, actually the higher it is the worse it gets.
Stacking on a PoS chain allows you to keep up with the inflation if the coin, it's actually not making you money but is mandatory to avoid losing some. If you're not stacking, you will eat the inflation, for example your DOT with depreciate at 12% per year

>> No.28494571

The only thing I know is that ADA is written in Haskell, therefore it's the best. Haskell is like Lisp, only not from 50s and not parentheses-littered, untyped shit,.

I yeeted a moderate amount into it and I'll take it to 0 if it comes to it, but I'm hoping for $10 in 1-3 years.

>> No.28494574

If you are worth 1 million USD and you buy a 100 things for a $100 you have spent 1% of your networth. This isn't sustainable.

Let's say you are worth $10 million and spend $10 000 a year on random shit like shoes, eating out etc in $100 chunks. You doubled the amount you spent by using ETH. $10 000 worth of goods for $20 000.

You are gonna be poor if you are not worth $10 million plus real fast.
