Fee-less makes it not a good incentive for there to be miners
Near instant transactions - Bitcoin lightning network
Power consumption is required to secure the network. You are literally sending energy converted into Bitcoin to someone else
Bitcoin is still undervalued

That's the whole point, there are no miners so there are no fees. Everyone has their own blockchain. Representatives are encouraged to operate their servers by their stake in nano, they want fair transactions so their investment is safe.

This coin is useable as actual money (currency) Unlike bitcoin which can sometimes take even days to confirm. What's so shit about it?

Smart contracts are for geeks. Normies don't know shit about smart contracts and don't want to know. The average person just wants something that can transact with on a daily basis. Can't do that with any other coin (that I know of) other than Nano. Instant transactions and totally devoid of any fees whatsoever.

>> No.28479993

I don't see any reason for it to appreciate in value. If its use case is as a currency why not peg it to a stable value?

Why would you do that? It appreciates in value for the same reason bitcoin does. Scarcity!

Yes that is very true but. No reason why Nano can't be part of that. Also you're forgetting that Nano is feeless. Eth isn't and neither is any of them. Eth is also too slow for everyday transactions (going to the grocery store to buy milk and a pack of Marlboros).

How is that the coin's fault? That's like saying I don't trust dollars because I left my wallet on the sidewalk and someone stole it You sound like a noob because you are.

I could understand Financial institutions, but not governments. It's a deflationary currency like bitcoin and most of them. I never looked into XLM but you got me curious now.
