I think $1 EOY is entirely reasonable and frankly I think that will happen within the next couple of weeks. Once that happens I don't think $3-$5 by EOY is unreasonable, but I do think it could also go much higher than that. So rules can be created and enforced, people can be refunded if they deal with a bad-faith merchant, and scamming can be more easily prevented.

Imagine being able to rent lodging and the person you are renting from gets more money than they would by listing it on airbnb, while you, as the customer, pay less than you would for the same thing on airbnb. If it works out, this will be a win-win for all involved except giant centralized corporations.
