ETH had some major issues like parity wallets and the DAOhack (That caused ETH to fork), And it was buggy as hell at the start tho that's something i've heard from other ETH holders because i came later). AVAX current problem is nothing like this from my understanding, network and funds safety isn't under danger, It's just a coding mistake in the cross-chain feature implementation from what i understand, shouldn't be a real problem imo.
